Yea, but I cant go through the gate at the top, I have scanned everything in the room, and cant seem to open the gate.

Ok, I am 26% complete so far, and am sorta stuck at the moment. I have just gotten the jump boost upgrade, and am not sure where to go from here. I havent come across anymore upgrades, and cant seem to move any further without them. I have the morph ball, boost ball, chrage beam upgrade, heat sheild upgrade, bombs, and about 75 missles. Can someone point me in the right direction, I assume that I am simply overlooking something.
