How bout Steph Curry and dem Warriors tonight!?

Whoooo. I expected a win, but had the Thunder been able to keep up, I 100% guarantee you that the NBA 3pt record would've been broken tonight. For both Individual and Team.

B. Beal scored 50pts tonights, so coming into tonights game, Curry knew he needed 22 points to keep the #1 spot in the race for the Scoring Title.... Curry finished with 24pts in the 1st Qtr
had 49pt, 11 threes in 3 Qtrs, and had 2 3's waived off in that time period. Mans was on FIRE.

Warriors also set a new team record for most 3's in a game w/ 27.
As a Warriors fan it was a fun watch, but it was basically a blow out from beginning to end.
Steph was out there embarrassing these cats, as if Beal threatening the scoring title was taken personally. A good show. Lots of highlights from the game. Dubs played a great game amongst themselves.

Dude... that's Starro in the Trailer and the Poster.

What I'm saying is that I really like the poster, and I like James Gunn's work, but who wants to bet that poster is gonna be better then the movie itself.

p.s. I have no faith in Suicide Squad as a franchise. Trailer didn't do anything for me. Not even James Gunn funning it up will make it a "good" movie. and that Poster is gonna be the best part of this whole movie....

or maybe I'm wrong. I dunno. take the bet.

the way which he [Coogler] has reshaped the second movie is so respectful of the loss we’ve all experienced as a cast and as a world. So it feels spiritually and emotionally correct to do this.

Very curious to see how they proceed. But Black Panther is the Title of the Wearer, T'Challa was just one of many Black Panthers. We can move on w/o recasting. We just need another prominant black actor to take his place and carry that mantle as King of Wakanda and Black Panther.

Maybe they saved Killmonger, who changes his ways. Maybe something happened and a Wakanda experiment went wrong and fused T'Challa and Killmonger into one, but kept the appearance of Killmonger, so that explains the fundamental change of Killmonger's M.O.

Could be another long lost brother, a cousin, or an existing character who takes over.

Whatever they do, I'm sure it'll be fine, even if it's not what most of us would have wanted. They'll make it work.

And with technology as it is today, if Disney wanted to film Black Panther 2 Starring Boseman w/o the mask the entire time, they could make it believable enough.

The internet edits of Carrie fisher were better than the Million dollar studio jobs.

I'm hoping the Warriors can do more of what they did last night, minus all the damn turnovers.
Jordan Poole was out there trying to be Steph-like, and since he was actually making ****, I was liking it. His confidence was always there, but now that he is actually playing well (I think it's the new haircut), he looks so much better than the last 2 seasons.

JTA is a nice player, and Mulder "is that Curry :squints:, nope that ain't Curry" is doing all right.
Oubre finding his groove in this team, and I really like Oubre, I'm hoping he sticks around, we just need to train him be more aware of a possible Curry pop-out and not always running in for his.
Getting Curry hot creates more open opportunities for the whole team, and then vice versa.

Dray just need to stay on a steady diet of LAYUP DRILLS in practice, and otherwise, just keep doing what he doing. We don't really need him to score, but when Dray has the opportunity, he shouldn't ne missing layups.... it's so damn embarrassing. Especially when the game comes down to the 2-3 missed Draymond layups making a difference.
The main difference, and one Kerr needs to keep them on is STICKING AROUND FOR THE DAMN REBOUND. I feel that's the difference in us winning so many of the games we eventually lose, is that we all retreat to get back the moment the shot goes up.
If 2 Warriors actively either stuck around, as the ball may actually go right to them, or box someone out in the paint, we get 2nd and possibly 3rd chance attempts. It makes all the difference down the stretch. We need more games where we try to get rebounds, especially offensive ones.

I feel if we can win the majority of these last games, we have a chance at the 6 seed and missing the Play-in Tourney. Our last 3 wins were all winnable games, and some of them we were even leading leading up to the final minutes. rebounds and 2nd chance attempts would've have likely won those games.

I mean Steph is pretty amazing on what he is doing this season. Just putting the team on his back and just winning.  Fighting into the play in tourney and winning versus what many consider the MVP in Jokic tonight.

I haven't watched all the teams play regularly, but I'm not saying Steph should be the front runner and favorite to win the MVP, just that he should be in the conversation. Hopefully he wins the scoring title though.

I thought it was good.

to touch on points above, I thought Sam was gonna be fucked when he whipped into the concrete tubes, but I think he had his Shield on his back, and that should protect him.

What I was a little disappointed to not find out, is if since the Wakandans made the Falcon suit, is it made of Vibranium? Would he have been bullet proof had he actually been shot by Karli? I really wanted Karli to get that shot off, and Sam to think he got shot, only to find out it did no damage.

As for the speech, well, there was no other opportunity or better time to just lay the point out there bare and undressed for the masses to consume. Now no one has to ask "did you get it" as it was not subtle and hinted at what the point.

Bucky's resolution certainly did not hit with the emotional note I think they were hoping for, but Sam's resolution for Isiah Brandley did hit much harder. Not quite a tear up moment, but the feels were there.

Sharon as the Power Broker..... ehhh, we'll see where it goes. At least if gives her something more to do than be a background character that's just there.

But I do like how in the end, everyone got what they wanted.
Karli's task was fulfilled.
Zemo got rid of the super soldiers (minus US Agent)
Bucky finished his book and got Sam to be Capt America
and Sam did good by Cap, Isiah, Bucky, his family, Karli, and himself.

and apparently this is in line for a potential sequel season, and the title card was the announcement of a Captain America movie sequel as well, helmed by the same showrunner as the show.

So I'm excited we get to see more.
I hope they tighten up Sam's suit for the next outing though. it seemed a little puffy in the front, and I don't really like the neck, half head cloth.

edit: I just really wish they didn't remove the Pandemic storyline, as that was mostly tied to the Flagsmasher and their cause. I'm sure the sympathy towards Karli and her cause would've landed a bit better had they not retooled the show to remove the connections due to the COVID situation.

Anybody read the books on this?
reviews have kinda got my interest more than piqued, and it's only rated TV-14 so it's something I'm hoping to watch with my daughter, that's NOT ANIME!!! Hopefully it we both get into it.

Impressions have me looking forward to it. They are basically saying in some ways even better than the book.
I haven't read the book, but that's enough praise to get me to at least check out the show.

I don't want to see the fake Mandarin in this.  Make this completely separate, introduce the real Mandarin.  I like how the film feels like a big budget Asian movie, which is should.  I hope to see some good action and hopefully a new part of the Marvel world like Black Panther did for us, and Doctor Strange when they opened the universe to Wakanda and magic.

Where the real Mandarin requested an audience with the Trevor Slattery and I think broke him out of jail. I think there's a working in link in the OP.... I haven't checked that for some time.

It would be cool if they brought back the One Shots... maybe even a Pre-Movie short once in a while.

This is some BIG News.

Disney and Sony ink a deal to bring Sony Pictures to Disney+

the short of it is, All movies starting w/ releases in 2022 will come exclusively to Disney Platforms (D+, Hulu, ABC, FX, etc etc), after the initial 18month stay at Netflix (Sony just inked a deal w/ Netflix as well for the post Theater run streaming).

But this also means Spider-Man and other older Sony Movies will soon be moving to Disney+ as well.

Soon the MCU collection on D+ will be complete, save for one lone hold out in the Incredible Hulk.

This is also a good indication for negotiations with Sony on a 2nd Spidey Trilogy (the college years?)
and may also lead to that eventual Disney buyout of Sony Pictures in the next decade or so?
