Stupid nooks, I want a net already. 2 days in a row with fishing rod and shovel. I also want a watering can before my flowers die. Not gonna be able to do it tonight, but tommorow if someone has one or more of these, can I visit? Same if u have fruit other than apples.

I hope it will be. It can be I think however Nintendo would need to seriously push it. However they won't. They refuse to even push and advertise their own software.  Nintendo could make it a success if they gave a damn but they won't. They'll put it out to die. The same thing will happen with Wonderful 101.  I do not believe at all that it will get any advertising.

Except I saw TONS of commercials for LEGO City Stories, so I think they will do a good job.

On a side note: Why are all the Japanese Directs at a normal time? They get 8 pm, we get 7 am. WTF?!

Because this is a ND for Japan, and will be in Japanese. Danny just put in those other times so you know what time it will be in your local region. The Japanese ND's are aimed at the Japanese audiences, hence why they air at a time that is good for them.

I keep hearing good things about TITE. However, the ONLY movie I ever like Seth Rogen in was Guilt Trip, and the only thing I found Michael Cera funny in was Arrested Development, so I am not sure I would enjoy it.

I had 390 Club Nintendo coins expiring June 30. I have zero interest in Metroid II, I already have the Super Mario All-Stars disc for Wii (so no SMB3). I ended up getting F-Zero X and Link 'n Launch (Club Nintendo even uses a quote from NWR for Link 'n Launch) and now have 40 coins to use before they expire on June 30.

Currency fluctuations is bull and has nothing to do with it, this has been happening for decades.

As for "rewarding" big budget games, if a game is good I will buy it regardless of whether it cost $5,000 to make or $50 million. Studios can, and do, make profit on low budget games too.

Considering Nintendo made a GBA game that had you listening to the audio only and not even LOOKING at the screen (Soundvoyager, part of the Bit Generations series) and other experimental games in that series, I think they probably would have taken the chance on something like Journey.

Platinum games could just as easily announce they're making a new IP for Sony or Microsoft. 

Technically Rare could have have too since Nintendo was never majority owner of Rare.

So it has been confirmed that William Fichtner (who to me is best known as playing Agent Alexander Mahone on seasons 2-4 of Prison Break, but also voiced Ken Rosenberg in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) will be playing Shredder in the new Michael Bay TMNT movie. Odd choice, but I like him as an actor. Still, the changes Bay is doing to the Turtles makes me not too happy.

I based it on history, so don't say its incorrect. And wow, you picked one of the few PS3 games that look better than Xbox 360 games. Nice attempt to make it seem like every PS4 games will be like that.


Brandogg, I said for the last 7 years. That would cover PS3, PSP, and PSV. All of those were "superior" to the competition but failed to be #1.

Sony says they have "sold" 75 million as of December 31, 2012. Xbox 360 about 77.2 million as of March 31.

Developers also said the PS3 versions of games would look best. Instead, almost every game looked the same on both (some looked even better on 360) and some games just flat out ran worse on PS3. So I wouldn't expect PS4 games to look any better than One games. And Sony's history of the last 7 years shows they will not dominate, as nothing they have done as helped them be #1 with any system.

Sony has never wowed me with their systems. The PSP was OK, but other than that, no. And it's never been good enough for me to game on it much other than the occasional rare exclusive I like. The PS4 may get good enough for me to eventually buy one, but no time soon.

Did you even read what I said? How can the PlayStation 3 be close to or ahead of the Xbox 360 in the UNITED STATES (which is what Brandogg said) when the Xbox 360 has been the best selling console in the United States for the last 29 months? In the 79 months that both Xbox 360 and PlayStation have been available, PS3 has outsold it 8 times (January 2008 by 39K, February 2008 by 26K, May 2008 by 20K, June 2008 by 186K due to a MGS4 bundle selling about 220K, July 2008 by 20K, September 2009 by 139K after a price cut, October 2009 by 71K, December 2009 by 50K). The other 69 months the 360 outsold the PS3 in the US.


The IDC report (I looked it up) was about shipped systems, not sold.

Hey Triez, think we'll get a Gundam Wing game?

Maybe not specifically Gundam Wing, but it's a safe bet Wii U will get a Gundam game since almost every Nintendo system has (NES had 1, SNES had 11, GameCube had 3, Wii had 5, Virtual Boy had 1, Game Boy had 5, Game Boy Advance had 4, DS had 4, 3DS has 2 so far). Only N64 and Game Boy Color didn't get a Gundam game.
