I agree, why should their be an age to stop gaming, especially with you 20-30 year olds that grew up with the beggining of videogaming.
Im only 16 so its hard to judge, but how can you be too old for videogaming, thats like telling your parents they shouldnt be watching XXX
(triple x the movie) because they arent targeted by it ?

Ill stop playing videogames the day its not fun anymore, but with the fun constantly increasing especially on GCN, why ever stop?

Yeah Importing would be too expensive for me although id love to do it.
But to import this game I would have to pay 60$ for the Japanese version, 20$ for the Freeloader, another 20$ for a new Memory Card formatted for Japanese games and shipping. Thats over 100$ which id rather invest into 2 games.

Crap, looks like ill have to wait till August.

Im sure it wont even have Fludd, Fludd was just an idea for an update. Mario Sunshine was merely an update from Mario 64, whereas Mario 128 is evolution or even revolution of Mario 64. I want that game alot, alot. I too was dissapointed with Sunshine, I didnt like Fludd, and it wasnt well balanced IMO

Im am very very excited about this game, excited enough to consider importing the Japanese version(with Freeloader) because it comes like 4 months early. Do all you guys think it will live up to the old glory of SC1? I see alot of potential in this game, but Im not sure if it will achieve similar awesome scores like its predecessor. Im positive though, Zelda WW achieved it, why not SC2.

Its not really the graphics that worry me but the Nintendo attitude I believe to recieve from this game which to me says 'Well weve got a few Hits who needs to worry much about 1080 its just to fill a niche anyway'. Now this game might really rock and ill regret saying this but why on earth have a game look so unpolished and then not release it for another like 10months even though its finished.

The graphics are unbelievable, the speed is incredible, and the style is just fantastic.
With freeloader available I might just import the Japanese version to play the game one month early

True Crime is supposed to be a real GTA killer.
Its bigger, less linear, introduces tons of different fighting styles like Kung FU, Wrestling etc, heavy emphasis on weaponless combat.

But theres still bullet time gun action too, much better graphics etc, and its also coming for the GCN.

What does slightly(but only very slightly) dissapoint me is that it seems as though Pikmin 2 wasnt graphically updated according to the lucky viewers. But I guess that doesnt matter since Pikmin already had rocking graphics.

Im really excited about Mario 128, most wanted Shiggy game after Wind Waker, perhaps even more. After all, hes spent ages on that game.

Did Shigsy actually say that Mario Kart was finished? If so, why dont they release it, same with 1080, WTF, why hesitate to release a HIT??????

You cannot rent this game, you must buy it, ITS SO AWESOME.
If you can get this game for incredible 20bucks nothing should stop you.
If you pay 5bucks to rent it for a week, why not pay 20 to own the 2nd best GCN game around.

well if you like Starwars, get Rogue Leader

2nd best GCN game after Metroid Prime is Eternal Darkness, really awesome fascinating game
also very good are Resident Evil, Super Smash Brothers, Super Mario Sunshine and some others

but the best is still to come, 2003 is an incredible year for the GCN, and I mean, INCREDIBLE

Yes they do feature different tracks according to N-Query at cube.ign.com.

This new footage is so amazing, must be the best graphics so far on the GCN, and the best graphics of any racer ever.

see biohazard i cant judge that because i havent played any Resident Evils ever and im just about to get REmake
i think if RE0 was really that dissapointing they should have remade RE2 and 3, but not in favour of RE4 which supposebly promises the freshness and innovation needed

Great comparison because the GCN has a mac similar processor while the Xbox has a P3.
Im one of these people who believes that the GCN can have games look just as good as Xbox games, and I say look, meaning that it might not have as many polys, but more textures or whatever ulitmately looking the same.

I really hope Metroid Prime 2 uses bumpmapping, and I see no reason why not.
Metroid could certainly use a little more polys on some objects.

TRUE, give the people a chance, the mods really exxagerate sometimes. Its not like world peace depends on this board, so maybe they can be a little more relaxed sometimes. Ive seen countless stupid threads recieve several hundred posts but some legitimate questions slightly violating the forum rules from noobs always get locked immideately.

WHen opinions clash together things go wrong. So ultimately Nintendo might be the best for some, but that again its a question of opinion and perception.

How can you call Germany  #1 enemy of the US? I assume that means Germany is a bigger threat than Iraq or North Korea because they have a different opinion? What about China, Russia or France? THose nr 1 enemies too?
I myself am not very happy about the radical position of the german government but that doesnt mean they arent against Saddam or his evil regime.

Anyway, I just hope you didnt mean it that way so ill get back on topic.

WHy do we actually take this Sega announcement for fact, as far as i recall this evolved on the IGN boards which certainly doesnt make it a fact.

I think reviews are important because theres too many games around that look promising so you have to be guided on which ones you pick.
Its not like I totally rely on what reviews say, but, they have a defined standard with which they rate a game, and they usually explain this standard. So if IGN gives a game 9.0+ its usually a pick for me(if the game interested in the first place). But I also rely on other sources and perhaps primarily on fellow board cubers.

Its also surprising how differently some games are rated, ive seen 5.something(IGN) reviews for DMC2, but also very good scores 80%+ for DMC2.

Yes im very satisfied with my GCN.

So far I have 9 games. GOt almost  good games for GCN.
I bought the GCN with Rogue Leader and THPS3, those got boring after like 2months, but then I got SSBM.
When that didnt excite me much anymore I got ED, which was awesome, didnt even finish it twice when SMS arrived.
THat game entertained me for a while and when I was getting too stuck(i never finished it) SFA arrived which certainly entertained me.
THe day after I finished SFA Metroid arrived which was gaming heaven even better than ED.

After Metroid nothing that exciting has been released yet, so I got TS2 and REmake Zelda isnt that far away.
I guess I must be satisfied because i play almost every day and spend as much money possible on Games and still miss out on alot.
