If you dont want to get teh games then dont, but dont act liek it was a dumb idea for Nintendo to release the games the way they are when so many people think contrary to that.
Really? Because I see a lot of people who don't like various things about the virtual console. It's not as if I'm the only complainer amongst seas of praise for the VC. On the contrary, you'll find people who like it mixed in with a few that don't, but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who has absolutely nothing bad to say about it. I've read too many articles, listened to too many podcasts, and read to many message boards to not know that the popular opinion right now is that the VC is falling short of its incredible potential.

The only tempting game on that list, for me, is TJ&E because it's multiplayer and due to random level generation has a great deal of replay value. CV is likewise nice, but I'd only play it through once and wouldn't afterwards be able to sell it back to a store so I don't see the need to spend money on it.

You're definitely in the minority there.

Please Please Please do not call this Megaton. Seriously, every time someone comes up with some crazy idea of what Nintendo's secretly doing and labels it a Megaton announcement coming soon, the hype trains speed out of control, even crazier and improbable 'what-ifs' ideas get spun, and by the time Nintendo actually announces something there's no possible way it could have lived up to the massive and pointless hype, and we all end up kicking ourselves.

Other games I want (other than the obvious ones) are Zombies ate my neighbors *BWAH HA HA HA!* and Lost Vikings. Both of these were great two player SNES games that I had a great time playing with friends, ah, fond childhood memories.

It looks badass, but I can't see myself buying it. I would be tempted to use the guide, which IMO ruins my zelda experience.

Unfortunately I have to disagree with you about Genesis vs. Super NES RPGs. There should be no question that the Super NES had more, and Square was certainly churning out great ones at the time. The Phantasy Star games and...what's that other one, Shining Soul? Those are Genesis RPGs I've meant to play but even if I could get into them, is that it? What am I missing that could possibly compete with the Super NES RPGs? That may be my opinion but I don't think the Genesis was an RPG haven.

Did anyof you even know that Sega madea 6 Botton ARCADE PAD thatw as actualy more popular than the standar 3 botton pad!??!?!?! seriously SNES SUCKED when it came to controlling fighitng games because of the shoulder bottons, Genesis had that right.
