Well done Termin8Anakin *claps*. That was extremely well written. OMG WE ARE TEH FAMOUS!1 But you forgot a few things with the Nint Aus interview. Remember, Golden Sun 2 comes out in April, Golden Sun 2 is really good, Something happens in Eternal Darkness on some day, no comment on Mario Kart, Fzero by the end of year, Metroid Prime commercials in a couple of days, He was happy with the success of the event, its Nintendo Japan's fault for lack of advertising in Australia, and um yeah..... *shrugs shoulders*. BTW, Nintendo Australia have announced the official release date for Wind Waker........................... 9th May 2003!!!!!

*continues playing Metroid Prime (BEST GAME EVAR!!!!!)*

OMG. Im taking a short break from heaven (Metroid Prime) and letting my arms have a rest as i write up some impressions. These impressions are all over the place because im getting sleepy. I'll try to avoid spoilers, but be warned, some of what im about to write will contain spoilers... or maybe not i dunno... *shrugs shoulders*

The first say.... 30 minutes or so, are a battle between you and the controls, they are very hard to get used to, but luckily the first area of the game is sort of like a training level, and after the first area you should have mastered the controls easily, once you get used to the controls they are very easy to use and they are very innovative. Anyways, now for the graphics. They are UNBELEIVABLE! The special effects that happen inside the visor are extraordinary, when you go in water and come back out again, the visor is dripping with water for a few seconds and it looks incredible. When you walk past some steam, your visor fogs up and it looks amazing. The sheer detail in this game is simply unparralled, some of the rooms are so huge and have so many things to scan and so much detail it makes my head spin. The gameplay is where this game really shines though, the lock on system when fighting enemies is spot on, and fighting enemies couldnt be more fun. I wont ruin anything, but i will say this. The boss battles are AMAZING, and damn hard too, seriously, ive only versed about 5 or 6 bosses and i can already say Metroid Prime has the best bosses i have EVER fought in a videogame (yep, sorry OOT). Ever since i got home last night ive been playing Metroid Prime, taking very short breaks here and there, ive clocked about 9 hours on the timer and i didnt even notice. The game really is THAT good, in fact so far it exceeds Ocarina of Time (yep, sorry again OOT) and it's the best game i have ever played. Truly breathtaking, now im off to sleep. Now hurry up and get that story up Termin8Anakin...

Nintendo Gaming / What's your favorite GC title?
« on: March 28, 2003, 10:09:59 AM »
Well, this is a poll, so its gonna be locked soon, but ill contribute anyway. Welcome to PGC Dilni! Anyways, Super Mario Sunshine would have to be my favourite GC game, just because i think it's so god damn fun and is the ultimate platformer, the graphics are great, the control and camera are spot on and a joy to control, and the new Water pack (FLUDD) is just pure brilliance. Other games that come close are Pikmin and Eternal Darkness.

Nintendo Gaming / SSB3!! IS IT IN THE WORKS?
« on: March 27, 2003, 08:15:36 PM »
Yeah, and they could.......... add new characters!!! Imagine being able to play as:
CEL SHADED LINK!! (he would kick so much ass)

Luigi
Wario
Waluigi
Toad
Peach
Birdo
Daisy

Olimar
Dr Mario
Yoshi
Donkey Kong
Tingle
Caption Falcon
Ganondorf
Ganon
Falco
Fox
Ness
Ice Climbers
Kirby
Samus
Zelda
Shiek
Link
Young Link
King De De De
Pichu
Pikachu
Jigglypuff
Mewtwo
Game & Watch
Marth
Roy
Mumbo
Bottles
Krystal
Peppy
Master Hand
Skull Kid
Baby Mario
Sonic
Tails
Knuckles
Jill Valentine
Chris Redfield
Rebecca Chambers
Saber Man
Kid Icarus
Paratrooper

Fox with staff
Super Monkey Ball monkeys
Boo
Saria
Donkey Kong Jr
A Pikmin
Moon (from Majora)
Slippy
Megaman
Bomberman
More Pokemon
Lakitu
Shy Guy
Chao (Sonic)
Andy and Max (from Advance Wars)
Golden Sun characters...
PN.0.3 Girl
Viewtiful Joe
Alex Roivas
Pious Augustus
Solid Snake....
um..... Spongebob Squarepants....?

And they could add a level editor, new items like Mario's FLUDD and Luigis Vacuum Cleaner, add Sega or Capcom levels/characters, and all the stuff Nintendo comes up with that none of us could ever dream about (cmon, who saw Pikmin coming?). I hope SSB3 comes out on the next Nintendo console, which is NOT called the nexus.

EDIT: Dark Link, must you always use capital letters? Its annoying...

EDIT 2: And im not liking the idea of online Smash Bros, online would be better for like Mario Kart or Pokemon, but Smash Bros would have too much lag and slowdown... In my opinion...

EDIT 3: When i say Water Mario, im not talking about Mario with a waterpack, i mean that guy from Super Mario Sunshine who looked like Mario but was made out of water, i think he's name was Shadow Mario. (i cant believe i bothered to edit this)

Bloody hell, where's me freakin' Metroid advertising? Bloody f*ckin' sh*t f*cks! ARG! I spilt milk on me flamin' pants, bloody Nintendo Australia's fault it is! Freakin' bloody crap sh*t!

Alas, my poor child, Metroid Prime ads will be starting this weekend, have you guys noticed on the ad for the AFL that it says something like "All your afl action, PRIME time", it sounds wierd how they emphasise the prime *shrugs shoulders* Anyways, we better see some Metroid Prime commercials soon *hopes*

i got my SP today, colour cobolt, its the best  i like held it up and did the link opens a chest and gets a prize noise, people looked at me  then i ran home (partly cause i wanted to play, partly cause it was about to rain, and partly cause i needed to hang a leak ) it is THE best thing since sliced bread!! and thats like sliced bread with 7.1 surround sound... and a turbo charger
its the best!!!

OMG, i saw it in teh shops today and i was like OMFG, the box looks tiny and the console just looks so damn sexy. And i also walked passed someone playing Metroid Prime, there was like heaps of people watching teh great visuals and i felt all fuzzy inside. ONLY ONE MORE WEEK PEOPLE!!

Oh yeah, and i missed Pokemon this morning I saw the last 2 minutes, i like the new theme song, very catchy, but can someone tell me what happened in the episode? I noticed Brock and Misty were in it at the end, and i also noticed Corsola, but what happened? And has Ash beaten the Johto Leage yet?

Nintendo Gaming / GameCube oversells PS2 in the UK
« on: March 26, 2003, 05:37:39 PM »
Quote

Godd news to all in the UK then.
Hopefully Metroid Prime and Zelda can pull up sales here in Australia too.
I long for the day where Gamecube beats PS2 and/or Xbox in something.

Well the GC has beaten xbox in many things in Australia. Xbox has never had a number one game in the all consoles chart, or a number two for that matter. GC has had 3 number one's, SSBM, Resident Evil and Super Mario Sunshine (for three weeks). The Cube also had a MUCH more successful launch that the xbox, with record pre-orders and 6 games in the top ten. Anyway, good news for Europe, good to see Metroid Prime as the number one game, and Luigis Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine back in the top 40. SMB2 selling stronger than i expected too.

OMG, Only a week to go, and Metroid will be mine. The best game ever is arriving in Australia next week, its already the number one game in Europe, now its a Australias turn for a piece of the action. Im pissing myself, this game is gonna be so awesome, my hype for this game has returned, one week is TOO LONG! *shakes fist at Americans with thier Metroid Prime and thier Wind Waker copy's sitting next to thier GC*

Nintendo Gaming / Burnout 2: Point of Impact Release Date!
« on: March 26, 2003, 05:12:04 PM »
Burnout 2 is an excellent game, to the people who only own a cube: Dont pass this game up just because its not made by Nintendo, its a really good game, ive had it on PS2 for months now, and its my favourite game on PS2, the graphics are beautiful, the racing is extreme, the gameplay is addictive and easy to get used to, i think i might even get Burnout 2 on GC as well.

Oh god, give me a break. A fricken scratch? Hell, and youre complaining about Nintendo products bring shoddy because you damaged the weak part of the plastic with a towel. Geez, Nintendo products are the most frigin durable things on the planet. I used to live in an apartment and when i went to my friends house who lived in the apartment next to me (i liked to play N64 on his big screen), i used to throw the N64 from the window in my apartment, to the window in his (about 6 metres away) apartment, because i was too lazy to take it up there and because i knew that if it fell, then it wouldnt brake. And you're complaining about a freakin scratch?!
