No. It's made by Torus Games. There's some talent in there.

Hey hey hey, I'm certainly a long way away from not liking the game. It's really really good. Best game ever good? Probably not. Sunshine good even? I can't even say that yet. I'm already appreciating it more as I look back at all the levels and realise a large amount are actually awesome. There's still something a bit off about it though, which could be the same reason it flopped in Japan. I think they need to ditch the 120 star formula, it slows down the flow of the game. Anyway I wont comment on it anymore til i've got 120 stars.

and I love Metroid Prime, one of the best games ever, and so is 2. I have some sour impressions of MP3 though which you're probably thinking of (but i'm still keen to give the game another crack one day).

The difference is GTA is constantly evolving while Mario is going backwards.

Rockstar hasn't innovated GTA since GTA3

LOL! Maybe because that was the last installment.

I'm really not feeling this game like most people are. I keep getting bored and going back to the same 3 or so stars over and over. Pull Star Path in Space Junk Galaxy is amazing, even though it doesn't feel that much like "Mario". Seriously the atmosphere and story feels like Zelda sometimes. About 80 stars in and i'm not going to say it's a disappointment because I had no expectations AND because i'm in a bit of a weird headspace at the moment so maybe the game will jump out at me soon, but I thought my reaction would be better than this since this team made my favourite game of all time Jungle Beat just 3 years ago. Still early impressions though.

As for the game having "no flaws" that's a load of crap, the flying is absolutely AWFUL. Controlling the toy helicopters in GTA is more fun and more intuitive. The hub is also incredibly dull and there's a lot of really awkward moments.

This game is out in the US this week and there's no word on any PAL release date, has anyone heard anything?

Is anyone in the US going to pick it up? I'm really keen on hearing any kind of impressions. Looks to be the best racer on Wii but that isn't really saying much yet.

It's hardly a crucial matter, but after recently playing the European version of No More Heroes - the assassination actioner from Killer 7 creator Suda 51 - we're a bit miffed about the lack of bloody violence. Especially since Suda had always promised the game could be "even more violent than Manhunt 2".

Ah. But that appears to refer to the American version, which features decapitations, ludicrously brilliant fountains of blood and other ultraviolent combat consequences. In Europe, we'll be playing the 'dead bodies turn to black ash' version, which is also released in Japan.

Why? Well, we asked the chaps who showed us the game, from publisher Rising Star Games, if the decision had been influenced by the BBFC's refusal to grant Manhunt 2 a Euro release. "Maybe," was their terse answer. Hmmm.

Great, no blood confirmed in the PAL version of the game. Normally I am against blood in videogames, but anyone who's played Killer 7 will know its a HUGE part of the style in the game, and it looks to be the same in NMH too, so this SUCKS. I was really looking forward to the game too, but there's no way i'm buying a watered down version of it. The publisher should grow some balls, Killer 7 got through just fine, this would easily have too.

I love the game but the bosses and difficulty / leveling up involved is just **** ridiculous. Up to the second boss and i'm seriously considering just giving up on the game, no game is worth this much crapping around.

1138
I wouldn't take this as confirmation of anything. They just don't know when it'll be done.

Honestly, I think it might be the fact that there isn't really a lot of interesting games coming out on the DS of late. After the explosion that was Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, what other games have created as much discussion?

Race Driver: Create and Race and Sonic Rush Adventure are both amazing games. I don't even own Phantom Hourglass yet, I still haven't finished with Tingle. Of course, there are more interesting Wii titles out this year, but there's still plenty on DS. Maybe it's because you can't play console games and be on your PC at the same  time, so you can talk about them, while your DS could be on and you could be playing something right now on the side. I find it interesting though how every single DS game you brought up was a first party game, besides the ones coming out next year that people will probably brush to the side as a new Wario or Zelda launches with them.

Looking at the DS, the most interesting titles coming out in the next few months are Professor Layton and Advance Wars 4. Not that they are weak titles but they don't cause much discussion.

Exactly, this is the question. If great games dont cause much discussion then what does?

How the hell do i beat this stupid boss at the deku place. I have no clue what to do, it feels broken to me, I grab a mushroom, get sprung up and no matter where I try to land I just cant seem to get swallowed by the stupid plants. I aim directly at them with the cursor and nothing. Directly away from them and nothing. Touched every single possible point on the touch screen and nothing.

EDIT: Nevermind I did it by aiming Tingle rather than the cursor. WTF is the cursor even there

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is the perfect game for this, and the only one you'll need. It makes Mario Party look antisocial. You should be able to unlock most of the basic extra sports in an hour or two.

Well if you consider it from a lawnmower fans point of view, this game would be a godsend. Since you can only mow the lawn every few weeks, this game could keep you satisfied in the mean time.
