That actually is not so hot.  Below an 8 on a game hyped as heavily as this is disappointing.  Same way with Super Mario Strikers,Mario Superstar Baseball, or (lol) Mario Party.

The best movie of all time is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  It's impossible to NOT enjoy that movie.  Or laugh hysterically.

Yeah.  It's nothing that special.  Hold down Z right after turning on the Cube to get the sound of a kid's laughter (it's pretty amusing).  Hold down Z with four controllers to get...another sound, which I forget and am too lazy to try right now.
