VGcats.com.  Some of the best comics ever.  And Grey Ninja's quite cool as well.  And I'm always a fan of random sprite comics.

Yes, XiaoXiao is quite amazing.  And to Berny, I'm just looking at flash to get some comedy out, not to make it amazing and get it to win five hundred trillion web awards.

Hmm...you didn't mention what program I'm supposed to do this with, S-U-P-E-R.  I'm assuming Macromedia's Flash program, unless there's a better one?

This hilarious flash:

Clicky.

Well, it inspired me to make one of my own flash videos.  I've never done that before Are there any pointers y'all have?  I don't expect to remake "Potter Puppets," as that seems quite advanced, but I really want to do this.

Oh, and you kinda have to be an HP fan to enjoy the flash.

You mean I'm the only one who figured this out?  Geez.  Haven't you ever wondered why Furbies are fuzzy?  Think about it.  It'll hit ya in an hour or two.

Over at IGN, they've got that new "Everything we know about the DS" thing.  Supposedly, a Mario 64 demo HAS been developed to be shown at E3.    And Gamebasher, you click the "http" button next to the "U" button.

I didn't mean PORT Metroid Prime.  I guess I kinda meant, a new, handheld-version of Metroid Prime.  Like Mario has his console and handheld games, yet they're totally different?  Metroid could be like that to; except...not totally different.  We're all looking forward to MP2...what about another?  MP3 (ha ha), or MP4 (ha ha)?  I'm just saying, who says GameCube has booked the rest of the series; the DS has some serious FPS potential.

This started Tuesday...

So I'm strolling through the Magmoor Caverns, going through Phendrana, blah blah blah blah blah.  And occasionally, like every ten minutes, my GameCube clicks.  And it's not once; it's always a pair of clicks.  So I say, okay, that's kinda fishy.  And then I'm in Magmoor Caverns again the next day, in the Tricerops Pit.  So I go Morph Ball, and roll under the chain-fence type thing, and a Tricerops grabs me.  He's about to spit me out of the place, like he's supposed to, but he reaches there, and then he starts walking in circles.  He won't stop.  He just keeps spinning.  So I reset the Cube, and I'm taking the "Transport to Tallon Overworld North" elevator, and I look awy.  I look back, and the elevator is no longer moving.  I stare for a bit, then this weird beeping sound stops.  Then, today, it just stopped completely while I was fighting the big rock guy.  It says there's some error...so I wiped the disc, and it's been okay since then (no clicks, no funky glitches, no freeze-ups).  I just want to know if there's anything else I should be doing?

Hmmm...all this has got me thinking (for a change).  What if...an incarnation of Metroid Prime were to appear on the DS?  I mean, if the specs are accurate, and we can get a backlight in, I don't know why a less-detailed version of MP couldn't appear on a handheld?  The

I think a shooting game would work great on the Nitro/DS/whatever.  One screen: FPS.  Another? TPS.  What do you think, and do you have any other ideas?

A new report at GCCafe (credit to SPOnG) confirms:

- Nintendo has no plans to show N5 at E3 2K4 (this has been known for a while)

- A new Animal Crossing (which has been hinted at for a long while as the entryway to Nintendo's online plan) will be unvelied in May

- Mario Tennis GC (which Nintendo Dream recently reported as "near completed") will also    be shown at E3

- Paper Mario GC (which was confirmed by IGN some months back) is set to be shown for the first time

- Metroid Prime 2 (of which an eleven-second trailer was shown at E3 2K3) will once again appear; hopefully in playable form

- Wind Waker 2 (which was also confirmed last year) will be shown in some form

- A showing of Mario 128 is still currently RUMORED

I have no idea about the credibility of this information, but I'm going by it.  They're not the only ones who have stated these very things (check my post in GC Discussion; Bloodworth, feel free to move that here).

I just realized I hadn't posted mine yet, so here goes

I'd like to see another rythm game by Namco (I just imported Donkey Konga, so I'm in a rhythm kinda mood).  And two screens would open up SO many possibilities to Pokemon...

Would you guys prefer a flap-top (SP), or the classic GB/GBC/GBP/GBA style?  I think a flap-top's the way to go, seeing as this is gonna be one hell of a portable (size-wise)

Yeah...*sigh*...

Do you guys think we'll see any first party DS games (PLAYABLE) at E3?  I sure hope so.  The DS has a lot of room to develop now, since the P***SP just got pushed to 2005.  I expect to see the DS in Japan Q3 of 2004.  If we're lucky in NA, Q4, or Q1 of 2005.  Either way, we'll hopefully beat the P***SP.

Oh no.  I just realized the letters "SP" are used in the name.  MORE REASONS FOR LAWSUIT!  MWAHAHAHAHA!

FIRST POST FIRST POST FIRST POST!  There's the first post of the day, first post of the week, first post of the month even...but nothing is sweeter that being the first to post on a thread.  ;-)

Anyway, seeing as the "WHAT GAME SHOULD I GET?" thread got so popular in the GC section, and I can't pull that off here for obvious reasons...

EDIT: *shudder*  Apparently, in the few minutes I decided to take thinking up something to say, fourteen people posted.  Damn.

I think the "element not seen in previous Mario games" that Miyamoto speaks of is multiplayer.  Sure, the old NES/SNES games had it, but would you consider that REAL multiplayer?  Post your thoughts.

No.  No it's not.

This is BS, man.  Throughout the GC's lifetime (which Iwata claims is to continue for EIGHT MORE YEARS), everyone accused Ninty of taking Sony's ideas, but I bet money that no one will thrash Sony when Namco decides to port Pac-Man VS to PS2/3/PSP...*sigh*...
