« on: April 13, 2013, 09:50:30 AM »Actually, this reminiscing reminds me that there was another site around this time winter 2006/spring 2007 that I use to frequent a lot because of the jabs they took at Sony. They were a pro-Sega site and so were happy to take this revenge on Sony and were based in Europe and pretty sure it was the U.K. but could be wrong on that point. They use to print a lot of gif images and a popular one was Ken Kutaragi at a table with word bubbles printed above his head of all the ridiculous things he was saying. I wish I could remember the name of. The site may have been shut down but I'd still like to know what it was and can always use archive.com to check it out again for some good memories.http://ukresistance.co.uk

Lay off Broodwars guys. Haven't you even played Virtue's Last Reward? Our actions now can change the past, this is a simple Schrödinger's cat situation. I have already gone back and discovered that Luigi's Mansion Dark Days was way better with King Boo as the final boss, the Michael Jackson cameo was very funny too.

RABicle, the player of the recent 3DS flop Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, says that he would love to play another title in the Advance Wars franchise.
In a post on a fansite's forum, Advance Wars: Dark Conflict game completer RABicle remained open to the possibility of another Wars game in the future.
"Whether it's Civilization or the Advance Wars, I never want to put an end to any turn based strategy series I'm involved with," said RABicle.
"I always want to play games that provide a lot of fun to me, so if I have the chance, I'd certainly like to play another [Advance Wars] title."
To date, four Advance Wars games have been released in the West, though the franchise has a much longer lineage in Japan, where RABicle wants to go skiing. The last time RABicle went skiing was at the failure stricken Thredbo resort on Mt Kosiosko, which he misspelt from it's original Polish.

The PS4 and 720 likely won't even have as much exclusive software as the Wii U in the early months, given the tendency we've seen so far for games this fall hitting both generations of hardware.You're missing the key bit of information our friend shingi_70 mentioned: Frostbite 3.
DICE can't be arsed porting their engine to WiiU, an engine they already have running on PS4. (BF4 will be a launch title) This is terrifying. Frostbite is EA's lead engine. Everything will be on it, Dragon Age 3 and Mass Effect: Subtitle are already announced to be running it. These are games (like BF4) are still 6+ months away from release. And DICE, the wholly EA owned developer of the engine have no plans to port the engine over. This is potentially apocalyptic. As much as we hate them, EA have some huge franchises and almost all of them that aren't sports or developed by Criterion will be using Frostbite. Even the non Critereon NFS games (the bad ones, but still sell jsut as well) are using Frostbite.
However, Nintendo shouldn't take the begging route to get the important game on their system, they should act like EA are stupid and don't deserve them. Talk up bundling CoD MW4 with consoles in November, look into Steam integration, promote Ubisoft 3DS shovelware ahead of EA's etc. Act like EA is the poverty stricken, disease ridden scum they are and kick them in the teeth.

Current games would look identical, new games would look amazing. A more powerful processor would be neccesary of course but the extreme scalability Apple have shown with iPods and the like proves it's possible to up the benchmark.
You need a higher resolution screen and/or a better processor for AA if that wish is gonna come true, and since history shows they won't do that, you might as well wait for the next gen handheld.
So personally, dual analogs, double resolution display, better battery and a smaller/lighter/thinner profile overall would be an instant purchase.

My 3DS policy is to not buy a new game until I beat the previous one. See if I can knock over Lugi's Mansion before Fire Emblem hits the Euro shop, if not i guess we'll see whats next.
