Edit: Yes, it does, fear not, Sonic Fans

Plus, people who imported the PS2 version reported that the music changes depending on the region.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Sonic Gems Collection Question

I cant seem to find a solid answer, but I'm getting mixed answers.

I dont think even Sega knows if it has 4 player or not.

Are you serious? So there IS a 4 player mode? Unless its only in the import versions, which I may have to do, I guess.

I should probably say that some of the songs are okay, but the overall soundtrack leaves a lot desired

I downloaded the songs from...somewhere, and jeez, these songs just feel forced with the Mario theme in them. I just dont see Mario dancing to these songs mostly since they have too much of a techno flare which feels rather...dare I say it...

queer.

I do want to pick this up, though. Some of it definatley sounds like fun.

By the way, which Mario characters are in this?

TalkBack / RE: Nanostray Released
« on: July 23, 2005, 07:27:17 PM »
Yes, the game is super rare now, apparently after the failures of psychonaughts and Advent Rising (Neither for the GCN) it resulted in abysmal sales which caused investors to sue Majesco.

Its rumored that they're getting close to call bankruptcy, brace yourselves, and if you want Nanostray, good luck finding it.

Nintendo Gaming / Rayman 10th Anniversary
« on: July 22, 2005, 06:45:29 PM »
Theres yet another complimation you may want to check out, coming for all major systems except the XBox, there is also a GBA version coming.

However, dont get your hopes up, the console versions contain Rayman 3 and Arena which probably states a complimation is too quick in my opinion, but the console versions also contain RAYMAN 2, which may or may not be the updated version seen on the Playstation 2.

The GBA version is just another two pack game, Rayman Advance and Rayman 3 Advance, however if you dont own one, or either game, its probably best to pick up this since both are top-quality games.

Heres a couple of boxes (Which seem like mock-ups to me)

These games definatley are real, but theres extremely little information out on them. But major retailers like American Wal-Mart's online store lists the GBA version.

Should the GCN version indeed carry Rayman 2, its pretty much THE chance to get all of the Rayman games on one system (Although, how are they going to hold 3 games in one disc? 3 Disc set?)

Nintendo Gaming / RE: NoE Prime 3 Arena Interview
« on: July 16, 2005, 05:36:28 PM »
Hey, its a game where Samus competes with other bounty hunters. Truthfully, I'm tired of Samus losing all of her attachments and being stuck on one planet. Plus the controls arent "Hold strafe to run" more traditional (and interesting on the DS, if only the turning could go quicker.)

Metroid game in name only? I think its quite suitable, myself.

Usually, GBA items you see on eBay are bootlegs. Its still got some time to go before its out in america.

Well, I mean like, can you fiddle with the configuration to get it to work that way?

Just because its a GBA game doesnt mean you cant use the bongos on GBA games.

Just a couple of questions. Exactly when is this game out in the US?

Plus, is this game gonna be compatible with the DK Bongos? I want some more of that hot DK action.

It was also released stand alone for PS2 and XBox and turned out that it wasnt as great as Hydro or Off-Road.

I really dislike the Revenge bomber in this game. Basically what you do (Despite the manual's poor description) is grab your stylus, aim with the D pad and 'fling' your bomb by touching your Bomber at the bottom of the touch screen and drag upward. Trouble is, I have no idea how you can aim properly at the top screen. Oh, and you can blow into the mic to make it a dangerous bomb that covers uper and lower west and east sides, but thats still very little range.

Plus the Reversi Battle in this is kind of frustrating. If you die, you become a revenge bomber with the lowest range possible. Its possible that you can still win, but when you have people with all flames and remote bombs running around at top speed, you're just screwed.

Still, this is quite fun, and some of the modes make some good multiplayer.

Oh, and for the voice recognition. Forget about saying 'Bomb' or whatever since you can just blow in the mic to set off the action. Though again, forget about playing the voice modes in the car since the rattling in the car is probably going to ALWAYS set off your bomb.

Oops.

Do it.

TalkBack / RE: SAG Backs Out of Voice Acting Contract

Apparently they just want to make a living off of voice acting.

In my opinion, whether your butt is on stage or not you shouldnt get paid a whole lot just to lend out your voice. A few thousand is all people need. Its not like any of Hollywood's actors act the way they're paid.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Details on Mega Man X Collection
« on: June 10, 2005, 07:34:53 PM »
The PS2 seems to have a 3rd variation where the 10 Games in 1 tag is connected to the logo, and freeing Dr. Wily.

Anyway, that is a shame. Its also a shame the PS2 and GCN versions continue to be on sale for $29.99 as the XBox version is $19.99
