Although I may regret reading parts of the script, it closes the door of doubt in my mind that this is indeed the best of the best. Happy I  am to see this return to glory. May 19th 2005, 2days after the Revolution begins... the saga ends...the circle is complete.

"Don't worry, the Sixers will be out by the time E3 and Episode 3 roll around. "

I thank you not to crush the dreams of a Philadelphia sports fan, there could be trouble.

Anyway, Director Kevin Smith has posted the worlds first review of the movie. It's full of spoilers but its not like we don't know what happens, we just don't know how. He said this is "The One". The StarWars movie the world has been waiting for since "Empire". Very dark and the dialouge is much better than in the other two movies. Beware though, he is a fanboy at heart so his words could clouded. That and he is rumored to direct the live action show starting next year. I do like to hear good reviews but it doesn't matter who said what, Jar-Jar is my hero and I thank you for keeping silent.

The Followers of the Shroom™[\b] disaprove of your use of the term "thrusting" while in a 1000-post radius of any Nintendogs thread. That's just not right.

Nevermid, I got my answer already. The person on the cover looks a bit tall to be one person and too short to be another. Mystery this is.

I liked Episode I & II a lot, so going to see Episode III at midnight like I always have is going to be a real treat. The fact that it's PG-13 doesn't make too much of a difference to me long as it's not being dark just to be dark.  E3 and Ep:III in the same week, wow may is looking like a really good month (My vacation, my album release and My team in the playoffs( Go Sixers!!!) already had may as a really good month anyway but this doesn't hurt).

A PDA application for the DS make way too much sense. Is such a thing even rumored to be in the works. How perfect would that be for folks who need both fun and function. I must have this currently untitled piece of software perfection. For the Working-Hardcore-Gaming-Mom-On-The-Go, "The Hybrid Puppy Sim/PDA/Chat-System5000", Brilliant!! And it may never happen.

My Imagination tells me that if I had anybody I wanted to do the voicce overs...

Nataile Portman as "The Princess Zelda"
Orsen Wells as "Ganondorf"
and Link Starring as "Himself"

Not that any Zelda game should have voice overs, but if they did at least on the surface, those 2 people would seem to do a good job although Orsen Wells is dead. Maybe Gary Oldman as Ganon. I just think back to The Wind Waker when Ganon said to Link, "Do not betray my expectaions!" and I think  if some deep powerful voice belleowed that toward me right before our epic duel of fate...maybe, maybe not, just a thought.

From what I read over @ the Puppy Times Blog, there is a good amount of text to this game and since there's no faq yet it really isn't import friendly, well not yet anyway. Nintendo needs to make haste and bring this stateside not now but right now!!!! I WANT A BEAGAL NAMED SNOOPY TO PLAY WITH ON MY 13HOUR SHIFTS @ WORK.  This is a "real" mans game. You gotta be some kinda confident in yourself to work with guns and and play with puppies and giggle at the same time.

Nintendogs for NDS = Poke'Mon for GBA

40/40 is something major indeed. Hopefully this will pan out into great sales, which means more support, which means better game for you and me.

I don't think voice acting is a bad idea for Zelda. However, since the first time I have watched anime I almost never like how the dubbed version sounds(save for a studio Ghibli film). So If they only use japenese voices and subtitle for the us release and Link does not speak outside of  his normal nods and screams, Then I don't think it would turn out too bad at all. Although it would be hard to get around the naming of Link or lack there of but I don't know anybody who doesn't name there guy Link in the first place.

Kinda cool and makes me want the game/art/media tool even more. If you dig deep enough into the site you get to see some pretty cool stuff about the concepts and art put into the game, even if you can't read japanese(I can't).

PLEASE BARE WITH ME AS I AM ONLY USING MY VERY LITTLE KNOWLEGE OF THINGS TO COME UP WITH A THIN OUTLINE FOR WHAT COULD BE REVOLUTIONARY"

While I am no expert, I do remember my IT days in the Navy. Nothing the sort of 3d gaming ever came up in my training. However I do remember a technology called "Tempest", which allowed infomation to be pulled from a screen (computer or Tv) using the screens frequency and then rebroadcast in some kinda flux. Since all Tv's and Monitors use a freq. of  60hrz for the screen, Imagine if you will a full duplex transmission between the tv and the Revolution on the freq of 60hrz:

Revolution hooked up to the TV using Traditional methods, i.e. RCA, s-video, Componet Cables:
Now Imagine another signal from the Tv srceen in 60hrz that the Revolution picks up and then Retransmittis 0.005sec later that the Tv tries to pick up:
Last, insted of glasses, you would use a special light bulb that you could pulg in to any light fixture to see the second image being sent from the Rev. back to the screen on the same freq of 60hz only a tad later and in flux, kinda like a hologram and BAM, 3D gaming on a regular Tv with no glasses.

Now I know that has many, many holes and I'm probably missing some key facts to using "tempest" but with the limited info and rumors we have, this is the only crap I could come up with. Feel free to inject sense into this maddness of a post.
PLEASE BARE WITH ME AS I AM ONLY USING MY VERY LITTLE KNOWLEGE OF THINGS TO COME UP WITH A THIN OUTLINE FOR WHAT COULD BE REVOLUTIONARY"

Based on what? Nintendo hasn't had media hype to speak of in four years at least, and they keep raking in cash.

Market share is the only crystal ball I need. Nintendos' market share and more importantly, its fanbase is getting smaller every generation. Noa/japan seems to make the same mistakes everytime and for evey mistake made and promise broken they lose fanbase.  What I mean by grace period is The Followers of the Shroom™ has allowed Nintendo to get away with the mistakes they make because we love them. Thier games put us where we need to be. He who is loyal shall stand but the grace of man is weak. " Nintendo hasn't had media hype to speak of in four years..." and they continue to grow smaller as others take up the slack.
But anyway, E3 is fun and it wont decide anything but hopefully it'll bring faith to those starting to think the last days of Link are soon to come.

"Nintendos selling point is the interface and the gameplay

So it makes ZERO sense to show video clips and graphics, when Iwata has harked on and on on how these very same things dont matter

So really id like to see them show it, no one will copy them but if they wont show the selling point. DONT show it at all."

I agree whole-heartedly with this statement.  I also believe if Nintendo shows nothing then you can just forget about Nintendo ever getting back to No#1.  The grace period for failure in the console race is just about up for them. "We see anything less the leader in the interactive entertainment as a failure". Yet Nintendo has been making the same mistakes since the late 1990's. We, "The Followers of the Shroom™" have been down this road before.  E3 wont be the end all, tell all but it will be very very important to the future of Nintendo. As unfair as it is, in today's world if you don't have the media-hype behind you, you're Decukf. When you don't have ºMedia-Hypeº behind you and you're trying to be no#1, you're dead.  Hopefully I'm all wrong like most of the time.

50cent is ºMedia-Hypeº

"Wireless controllers that recharge when you plug them, brilliant". The best idea I've heard since I came back to the internet.  This means that there is no way for this to come true, it makes too much sense.

Never in my dreams did I think Punch-out would come out like this. There has got to be a law somewhere saying this is wrong but fun nonetheless.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Is the GameCube Dead?
« on: April 17, 2005, 03:59:51 AM »
Not only is it the lack of games for the GameCube, even the games that do come out that should be hits end up being ho-hum at best(StarFoxAssult I' looking your way). In all fairness I did make a list of games that I didn't get that I probably should have so I'm just as much of the problem. I really does feel like the N64 "ReDux". Between the lack of games for the Cube and The Ds, its like when you're in a relationship with somebody and you can't seem to get it right. And even when you do, it only last for a moment and then its back to the same ol' story.

XboX 360™ is something that really seems to be a wild-card. I'm thinking bout one just of the strenght of BioWare alone but if it's not Backwards compatible AND if it still uses the same disc format(Blu-Ray/ HD-DVD still not confirmed) then I can wait till the Rev. However, if they can squeeze both of those features in at a good price point, $249.99 or less, then I may have to make room next to the Cube/N64/Snes/cable/stereo/ too many damn things hooked up to a 27" Tv.

Thank you. Thats what i wanted to here. I did forget about Killer7 but other than that and Zelda I'm just not really that excited for anything. Maybe I'm getting older so, wait no thats not it. I just don't have anyting to play on my beloved Cube. Naruto3 and RE4 Mercs, thats the only thing I have been playing for the last 3months. I think I feel this way because I really want Jade Empire but I cant give in to the darkside of the force and buy an XboX (Not to mention XboX 360 may be here in close to 4 months). And I was so hyped for Star Fox Assult that when I finally played it I felt so dissipointed. I knew that the end...

Anyway, here to the good times. Hopefully they're not all gone. Cheers!!!!!!

Forgive me for saying what some of us have been thinking ...

No releases for 7weeks straight.
Nothing really on the radar until Zelda.
Sorry to compare but at this same time the Ps2 And Xbox flurish during the so-called "dead season". (Post Holiday, pre E3)

I don't want to think so and I really hope I'm overlooking something but it just seems to me that my beloved Gamecube has seen its best days. Please if it is possible to do so, restore my faith. I long for some good news from the front line but all I seem to get are promises broken(The Ds). I guess I can go back and get some of the games found to be sleepers and try them out(Beyond Good And Evil). I thank you in advance for you support in these days of turmoil.
