I would say that nintendo will use a it's own Disc Format that is "also" capeable of playing standard DvD/9s. Just like DreamCast played their own format, GD-Rom and played standard CD's. I expect said dual-layered disc-drive to hold up to 16.5gb's and be based on the original HD-DvD format. Then they get the best of both worlds.

There using the Blu-Ray technology and the HD-DVD software and the final name and format will be announced during E3. So expect Sony/Nintendo to use the what ever format the call it.
Props to Ian Sane for the wireless controller-plug--in-to-charge-thing, he said that a few good weeks ago(I smell lawsuit).  This is almost too much anticipation for me to handle. Couple E3, Episode III and my vacation all back-2-back-2-back and I think I going to collapse.

After watching that Mtv XboX360 special I must that I'm not in the least bit wowed by the hardware. True indeed, the games look better but really I feel so underwhelmed by the whole thing. Graphics really have reached the point of the second option, maybe even 4th(Gameplay, Art direction, Sound then Graphics). The best looking Game was Need For Speed which looked totally CG and smooth but that damned PD0, in motion looked A$$Nasty Boo&Hiss I say. Had my hopes up for that and proceeded to get crushed under the weight of disappointment. PS3/Rev will blow this thing out the water no doubt about it.

The problem is the screen would still be split 4ways in a FPS and on a little sreen that would big suck. Mutilplayer wouldn't be that be of a deal if this thing were true. The Ds can settle my multiplayer fix, while this would allow me to play all those old games I never picked up or didn't finish(Beyond Good and Evil) on my shift at work for those 12hr shifts I work. GameCube SP, yeah that's about right. The more we climb in this thread, the higher I will fall from when this ends up being fake.

Not bad looking at all. Seen one of those Hi-Res shots and I must say it almost looks sexy, almost. I think Splinter Cell is a great franchise for the DS if itcan be pulled off right.

I believe it more likely that this is a New DS bundle vice a GBAsp2.0. More threatened by the PSP's features is Nintendo, and I don't believe anyone is saying which one should I get "GBAsp or PSP". Sense it would make if the DS was tweaked to combat the multimedia features of the PSP. Now if you think about the recent announcement of the online and wi-fi partnerships, Nintendo based routers and such, a D.ocking S.taion w/usb2.0 would seem more like the way to go. Ahhh, just give me my AC on-line and let me hibernate.

NO T.O., No SuperBowl Go. He has a big mouth and doesn't know when to act like a pro sometimes but he did put on one of the best shows of "love of the game" in the SuperBowl 39. 6weeks removed from a broken leg and he caught 9 ball for 122yards if Brett Farve did it(comeback, not catch passes), it would have been heroic, T.O. does it, it's considered selfish. Not fair. It's his own fault but still not fair.

Being from Philly and a hardcore Eagles fan all I can say is "THIS SUCKS SO BAD!!!!!!" Why not Peyton, Big Ben, Tom Brady or any other QB in the NFL. We were so close to the land of milk and honey now we wont even make the playoffs. "McNabb is the perfect representative for the cover..." Sure if you're a cowboys fan.  In the words of C3-PO "we're doomed".  And May was shaping up to be such a great month too.

What I find to be so intriguing is that the 2Gb hard drive is just enough to load the entire disk to memory thereby saving countless amounts of energy by not having to spin the disk.  Battery life could soar to the 10hour mark. Too damn smart and brilliant to be true!! I nominate this as "the best fake product ever produced by a fanboy"(along with the episode II trailer from 2000). Some local tech editor for the Philadelphia Daily News had hinted @ the idea of a GameCube SP. Although I don't belive that has any thing to do with this, I may dream, if only for the moment... this is not fake. Let my dream live.

I was thinking about the same thing but I thought about if Nintendo & Apple mixed the DS and the iPod to make some sort of hybrid iDS. Now to me thats smarts but what do I know. Why do people, including myself, want Apple and Nintendo to hook up so bad? I guess it's because they seem so similar that it makes sense for them to team up.

Blaster Master is top five on the NES. So the good that game was. Anybody remember Capcoms Section- Z?  This was the Hardest game I ever played and the only one I ever had to call that 1-900 number to finally beat the game. 3D WorldRunner and Clash at DemonHead are both quiet classics.

Thats a whole lotta force goings on right there. The Clone Wars on CN were just about the best thing I have seen since somebody decided to take Samuria Jack of the air. And it's seems that this 3D talk wont go away. I get the feeling that...oh nevermind we'll see if thats true in may. Back to StarWars. I wonder if the live action show will be about the coming of age for Boba Fett. I haven't heard much about him in RotS so maybe we'll finally get to see what Vader was talking bout when he to Boba fett in Episode 5, "I want them alive, no desenigration". Damn the haters, full speed ahead!!!
