I'm not a fan of gapcha mechanics. My two sessions of cracking orbs left me wanting to purchase more since I was dissatisfied with my pulls, so I stopped using it. The spectacular visuals are hopefully a glimpse of things to come with future handhelds.

Thanks Mop it up. I'm so used to digital purchasing I forget to check out the physical prices for less popular titles. The used copies of the games I typically buy are usually marginally less expensive than the digital prices. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the tennis but I'm glad you liked the golf. Of the two, that's the one I was more interested in.

Decidueye, Ribombee, Salazzle, Alolan Raichu, Bewear, and Wishiwashi were my final team. I had been training up a Alolan Grimer I liked, but it ultimately lost out to the Salazzle. I took a Lycanroc to Midnight form, but prefer dual-types, so he was cut too. I pick my teams with only single player in mind and basically reconcile aesthetic preferences with type coverage.

I think there are a lot of interesting designs in Gen 7. I really like the Ghost types in particular. I'll be getting Sun soon so I can run some different combinations through the man story gauntlet. I'm building my catch team with Lurantis and Shiinotic so they are already covered, but I also really dug Sandygast, Mimikyu, Dhelmise, Passimian, Toxapex, Araquanid, and Vikavolt, as well as both starters I didn't use.

Thanks for the review. I had been warming to this title when it became clear I would be holding off on my Switch purchase. I'm strictly a single player gamer and was waiting to see what kind of structure would be there to provide a narrative context for repeated play sessions. Four cups per sport sounds like a decent amount of content for what I am looking for, but I'm still in wait-and-see mode since the review wasn't particularly positive.

I'm also going to take a second look at Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. They are now almost certain buys if/when they become Selects, but I might pick one up earlier if I ultimately pass on MSS.

In other City news, Carli Lloyd signed a contract to play out the remainder of the season for the womens team. It will encompass both the FA Cup and Champions League. I've never seen the women's brackets of these tournaments, not even sure they are broadcast in the US, but I'll try to catch a few games if they are.

From storming out of the gate, to coming down to earth, and then the up-and-down form since, I think it's been exciting. With 6 good teams for 4 Champions League spots, the end of season run-in should be fantastic. And as you already said, the CL tie is winnable, and one of the monsters is suddenly sitting on the brink of elimination. This is all in Pep's first year without the players he needs to be really effective.

I agree with you on Aguero being City's best striker (I think he's the best striker in England), but I think his time was up regardless. That being said, if Pep and Toure can bury the hatchet and find a way to compliment each other for the remainder of the season, I think Aguero will too. Real Madrid or Barcelona won't come calling unless he finishes strong (and they don't get Aubameyang), and the rumors I've read is that it's those two or PSG he wants to play at next year.

You can see the uniform cop was talking to him and Oak was beginning to comply and that's when the security guards start getting all grabby and escalated the situation. I think the tresspass will go away and the assaults are all summary offenses. They gave him a desk appearance ticket which means he has a date to come to court and didn't even process him through the system. I hope this lights a fire under Knicks fans to make it very uncomfortable for Dolan to enjoy those courtside seats.

In my head I know Patrick Ewing should be my favorite player, but it's honestly always been Oak. Shame Jim Dolan wasn't in reach. Apparently he got Oakley ejected because Oakley was being critical of Dolan's twenty year reign of error:

John McEnroe looked worried, lol:

No, wait, Silenced did not say "play" that I can see and he still got changed. I was then wondering if it might be something generic like "that" but Evan_B has said this and did not get changed.

I feel like I should be able to figure this out, but it isn't coming to me.

One big clue Khushrenada gave is that Pandareus has said the word, but did not get changed because Khushrenada didn't know if he knew what was going on. Pandareus has made just one post that would qualify:

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=51267.msg913296#msg913296

The word is one of those, but which one...?

He gave another hint in post #95 but the post I thought it applied to didn't work.

Edit: sorry, I mean he gave a hint to the cure word.

Edit2: actually that probably doesn't mean that either, but I can't figure out why two people weren't infected (at least the first wasn't initally).

I thought "play" was the cure word, but it's higher up in an earlier post.

I'll?

your?

You're thinking of lemonade and ice tea. That's an Arnold Palmer.

To Khush

Dupe?

Are any of these the cure?

93
Interesting show posts, must be a coincidence.

95
Hmmm, dubious statutory interpretation, but I can't argue with your final conclusion

96
Khush used game in his post and is unchanged.

97
Edit: you probably meant figure it out from who gets infected

General Chat / Re: What are you hyped about today?
« on: February 03, 2017, 12:57:07 PM »
Very hyped for the Six Nations starting tomorrow. On paper it looks to be very competitive despite England and Ireland being clear favorites. England are obviously unbeaten under Jones (and looking great doing it) and Ireland are coming off a spectacular autumn and a promising summer. The schedules are pretty even too. Both have two very difficult road games, and although Ireland get England at home, England looks to have more potential for bonus points. Right now I'm predicting a reversal of 2014 when England beat Ireland but lost the championship on points differential: England will lose in Dublin but still win the title on points total.

However, Wales can still be formidable, and hosts both Ireland and England, so they are a dark horse. And Scotland has been playing much better the last couple of years even if they don't have the wins to show for. They definitely have the dynamism to challenge for second place on the table if they can eliminate the late game mistakes.

France, as always, are an enigma. The Fofana loss is huge and they still can't get consistency and proper selection of the halfbacks. However,  they always have a collection of players that can beat any team in the world. Unfortunately, their international game is hampered by the priority they give their domestic league. They play more games and in a much more attritional style. To put it bluntly, the players are too fat and therefore can't meet their athletic potential. You only need to look at the Vunipola brothers to see how much performance can be improved by taking sports science seriously. If the Top 14 had the professionalism of the UEFA or North American sports leagues I believe they would consistently be among the very best teams in the world.

I like the noise out of the Italy camp. Obviously they have the recent South Africa win, but it's been mostly dreadful for them at the international and club levels. Conor O'Shea is a very promising hire and he and the great Sergio Parisse will have them very dangerous at home, particularly early. Hosting Wales first, which maybe present the best style match-up for them, will be a great tone setter. Regardless, they don't usually have the depth to hold up during the later rounds.

These are likely the most important games each round in determining the title:

Scotland-Ireland
Wales-England
Ireland-France
Wales-Ireland
Ireland-England
