That's fine. What I shouldn't have to pay for is the GamePad integration of Wii titles, which is exactly what they are doing. What makes this worse is that the three they have announced for the US so far don't even use the GamePad.
Not only that, their selection so far is basically their Virtual Console model. "Let's release one game per week for a few weeks then never talk about it again!" If they release more than 10 games this way by the end of the year I will eat my hat. The only one worth it in the US is Metroid Prime Trilogy, while the other two are still relatively easy to find on your own. We should have gotten Pandora's Tower and/or Sin and Punishment 2 like EU did.
I'm not sure which Nintendo you're familiar with that would even consider adding functionality like this for free when people would pay for it.
And if people stopped gobbling that **** up then they wouldn't do it.
