For there being a large number of people in the game, not many people are talking.

I agree. If a game comes out that I want to support, I'll buy it day one at full price. But if its 'not up to snuff' I'll hold off for a price drop. I plan on getting Gears of War 2 on launch day, probably the 'special edition' one. To me, its worth it. I 'want' Medal of Honor Heroes 2 on Wii, but its selling for $40 still and from what I hear, its not low enough. $20 is the magic number for me, $10 used. If the price never appears then its a game I miss out on. No big loss as there's always another around the corner. Zack and Wiki, paid full price and proud to support the title.

The videos reminded me that I never finished Rayman 2 or 3. Now that I think about it, I never finished Banjo-Tooie either.

I tend to pick the characters with the most jiggle in their wiggle.  They're usually female.

If you've played Bloody Roar on the Gamecube, some of those men jiggle as much as the women. At least on the character select screen.

IE7Pro and Developers Toolbar does what I need for Internet Explorer.

I prefer IE7 over FireFox 2. IE has a faster startup, its looser in its interpretations (I have to specify overflow: auto in order for a DIV container to remain bounded around its contents? Lame), but I do like how specific the error messages are. I really hate IE's generic error message.

Thankfully, my childhood was long gone before the crap that is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Dragonball Z came around.

Unfortunately, my childhood was still kicked in the groin with the Transformers movie, so I feel your pain. Though since I have watched Dragonball Z before, this is more like a kick to the groin, grab them while they are shooting up your throat, punch in the stomach, and snap them down kind of pain.

Oh what oh what will they do to GI Joe...

Actually... ARE there flast SD TVs? I'd buy one of those!

I have a 'flat' screen SDTV, but its not like an LCD or Plasma. Just the glass is flat. There is still the CRT, which will never shrink in size enough to make a truely flat SDTV without shrinking the size of the screen. The length (z) of the TV is relative to the Tube's ability to hit the edges of the screen without distortion.

Oh, and my video card has an HDMI out. How does that fit into your "TV made for a computer" arguement? ;)

The voice reminded me of the 'Hitchiker's Guide' movie, which, of course, reminds of Monty Python in some manner.

The 'voices' of the hint things reminded me of Animal Crossing. I had a cynical reaction of wondering if the same people who panned AC for that talk will turn around and express love of these mumbling creatures.

I haven't played, just watched it played at a friend's house. Anyone have an extra beta code?

I'm not sure how I feel about the next 'Wii'. I 'want' Nintendo to be the big boy on the block and use their new found riches to blow everyone out of the water. But knowing Nintendo and their philosophies, I think developers would be lucky to see something on par with the current 'next' gen. Nintendo doesn't want to create a machine that increases development time and costs, though I think we'll end up seeing a ton of 'Wii-makes' of games that couldn't be ported before.

The only 'good' thing that might happen is Microsoft and Sony not increasing their respective horsepower for a generation to take time and create their own unique console.

Eyes are a usual starting point for me, too.

I had some comics stolen from me. One in particular was Sandman #1 signed by Neil Gaiman to me. 13 years later I still weep sometimes. Really though, that was one irreplaceable item.

Why did I get this game? I can't even get past Galaxy Man's stage. Those damn helicopter thing-a-ma-jigs come down out of the sky and dropped me on some spikes, damn things.

It doesn't help that I haven't gotten the hang of which button is jump and which is shoot.

If only I was 14 again. I beat Contra without losing a life. I beat Ninja Gaiden. I beat Batman for gosh sake. Now I'm crippled because I depend on dual analog sticks and triggers.

I just got Orbient. Its a nice relaxing game, till you get to level 15. Then it drives you bonkers trying to shoot your marble into narrow corridors.

I recommend it.

I'll tell you what will happen with this game. NOA won't release it until 2 generations from now, as a downloadable title only. Then it'll be a time limited release.

Watching a video of the ducking and shooting reminded me of Winback. Definately is going to be odd after playing Gears of War and Uncharted, which have similar mechanics.

I voted 360. I prefer the controller. I don't like the PS's because I can never get a comfortable grip. But I did suffer through it enough to finish Call of Duty 4 and Uncharted, so it isn't that bad :\.

The Xbox Live market is so much better than the PSN. Downloads from the PSN take forever, Live has more choices, and everything just feels that much more polished.
