A friend of mine at work was a huge fan of the GotG so he's been waiting for this for a couple of years now. He's always tried to confer to me just how awesome they are, and I just don't see it. THAT"S A GOOD THING. This maybe the first time since BATMAN '89 that I go to a comic book movie without forehand knowledge of the story and lore. Gonna be fun for me to be on the outside like the other movie goers. After I get a trailer, I'm sure the hype will kick in a fair amount.

I'm not expecting Titanfall from a 15-man studio in San Diego. That's the beauty of it, I want something that people loved to do and would do it for free. I don't think it will be less of a game if it not coming from a big name company.
Much like in music, most famous musical acts suck(especially in hiphop) so indie is where the passion is. I'll ride with passion.

On Shield:
Agent Coulson being killed in Avengers and him being alive is level 7 clearance, how does he go on mission all over the world as himself? And why would it still be a secret to the Avengers. Even the Cadets at shield academy know he's alive now. I fell like I'm missing something?

I've only seen 1 Edgar Wright movie, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. I had so much fun and joy watching that. Hopefully he puts that kinda mojo on ant-man.

I own Vanquish and W101 so I know what to expect from the gameplay but I have 2 questions for those in the know:
Does this game look that much better (graphically) than Bayonetta 1?
Is this game as "demonic" as it looks? I didn't play 1 so not really sure. As awesome as the games combat will be, I'm not sure about story wise. For reference, the shonen jump manga stuff and anime Demons and Angels stuff does not bother me. However considering how over-the-top Platinum Games can be…

If ever there was a time to "Kick ass and take names" it's now. And I know nothing big is set to happen, maybe highlight some indie titles, Mario Kart 8 and Donkey Kong trailer. Even a new smash character for smash. But this is all probable to obvious predictions.

Nintendo really needs an indie direct (or something) to highlight some of this stuff in detail. There are some nice games coming out between now and Mario Kart 8. Nintendo seems strangely quiet. I guess i got used to having a ND every 40days or so.

Sad. I bought Zombiu and have rented Just Dance enough times to pay rent. Watch Dogs was a buy and I'm getting Child of Light, even thoughI don't like turn based combat. Maybe there is something else at work. Nintendo asked them to implement more GamePad features as per their new approach. And some NFC stuff since I'm in a dreaming mood.

I know thats crazy right, but yeah. IronMan 2 is quite a flawed movie but I like it a hellava lot better than part 3.
(I am also one of 12 confirmed humans that liked Superman Returns more than Man of Steel)

Thor: The Dark World
I think I loved this movie. I am an admitted MCU junkie and have only not liked 1 movie out of the bunch (IM3), so I am only partially objective. I thought this movie had all the things I liked about the first movie and expounded on them. Strangest thing about the this series (including Avengers) is just how "good" Loki is. He owns the screen every time he's on it. It doesn't try to convince you that it's not a comic book movie and it's better for it. Of course the inevitable 3rd movie will suck because, well all 3rd comic/nerd movies suck.

But they put the extra effort into NEED FOR SPEED: Most Wanted, That game is gorgeous on the Wii U. I'll never understand EA, I just hope they lose there exclusive NFL rights before Playstation 6 is released.

Crysis 3, which is published by EA used the CryEngine 3 on PS360 but EA "claims" there was trouble getting the engine to run on the Wii U so the canned the port of either Crysis 2 or 3, I can't remember which one it was.
EDIT: Per Crytek, The Wii U in theory can also handle the 4th Generation CryEngine. The only game I know of that runs it is Ryse: Son of Rome on XBOXONE. Not that it would look as good but still, it's good to know #notdeadyet
