Buying games out of your actual region on Xbox is not as easy Ty paints it to be.

Xbox accounts are actually not region-locked, they're COUNTRY locked. Depending on where you are you will have to resort to VPNs to even download your games, because download stalls on purpose on certain percentages if it discovers that you are from the wrong region or not eligible for the deal. There is a reason having a VPN for XBox 360 and One is such a lucrative market.

Makes me wonder if MK Battle Mode was originally planned as DLC on Wii U and Nintendo decided to hold it for a Switch edition instead.
Yes, they had a battle mode ready three years ago and decided to gimp their own game and get a criticism and lost sales for it.

More over, when they where doing DLC tracks for the game they kept putting aside ready Battle mode tracks and instead put even more effort into creating other tracks.

French Amazon is selling Switch + Zelda for 360 Euro (including VAT):

It doesn't work outside of France, but maybe it will work for someone.

Will Switch eShop available on mobile?
eShop has been available on mobile for a few years now. You can browse and buy games from phone's web-browser.

They had played the game for few seconds on japanese event:

Cool that when explaining the history of the series, they divided 3D Mario series into 2: linear and open/hub based, with Galaxy 1/2, 3D Land/World being linear and 64, Sunshine and upcoming Odyssey being open:

Some of these titles also have My Nintendo disounts, like Steamworld Heist so you can't get them for an even lower price.

Used My Nintendo discount on Steamworld Heist and it was also on sale so it was double discount.

Megaman Legacy Collection finally went on sale so i got that.

Around 8 euros for each game.

I booted Megaman and played some Megaman 1 and it's fine, but i wished it had in-game achievements.

Also Winter Steam sale started yesterday i bought The Room 2 (sequel to that cool puzzle game with the box) for 2$:

Shadow of Mordor stops being fun really fast.

While orc army gimmick does bring a tinge of personality to captain it just becomes an annoyance with time.

Ultimately you realize this unending stream of orc captains is just a hamster wheel for you to waste your time -- a tool to generate infinite amount of missions. Ubisoft uses 3 Eastern European game studios to fill up their open-worlds with collectathon, while WB has eliminated the middle man and just automated the entire process of creating side-missions.

Compared to Batman games -- there is no puzzle solving, no flying with the cape in 3d vertical environment, no interesting comic book fanservice. But you can kill some orcs? And then kill some more orcs and kill them all again and again and again.

Grimderp one-note tone of the game makes it even more boring. All orcs are all are variations of "me evil, me kill ya!". It gets old. At least in Batman games you can overhear mooks saying funny things.

On obtuse puzzles in La Mulana: the most absurd ones are nearly at the end and so you don't even know the full extent of it.

I highly recommend not to even bother with giant scales room and with yellow medicine and just look it up. Mantras -- another late-game BS puzzle are actually very to cheese so they're okay.

miniboss in the Twin Labyrinths that seems impossible with my current equipment (I think I've got about half the items/weapons)
If you talking a time-stopping bird, you can kill it without specific item (there is even achievement for it) -- it just requires a study of it's patterns and a bit of premonition on your part.

There are just too many of them, and even my expanded recorder filled up almost immediately. At this point, they mostly seem way too vague to be worth thinking about, and several I've only realized what they meant after I randomly or intuitively uncovered the secret.
Make notes, it's much easier than clunky in-game recorder.

Will it finally be The Legend of ZELDA?

Can she be a bigger presence with the way final scene is edited, with Link kneeling and her making a fist?

Also the first hand-drawn part is gonna be the introduction with retelling the backstory of this particular world, like they did in Wind Waker and other games.

241
Disregard what i said, it was fake or smth.

There is a rumour that NoA is going to give out timed demo (25-26 of Decemeber) for BotW for players who have more than 5 Zelda games on their Wii U and 3DS...

243
Can't wait to see Geoff to shill his guts out hyping up some 3DS eShop games.

Also AM2R died for this (okay not really but still).

Expect Afterbirth+ on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and one more console. Sorry no PS Vita or Wii U versions. Date? Spring 2017–we’re already working on the console versions.

Afterbirth+ is second content update over Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

I finally fixed my Xbox credit card situation (i couldn't put in any money because of some policy change on my US account and couldn't even relocate my account into my actual country of residence because it wasn't in the list -- now it is) and bought

Castlevania: Symhony of the Night on 360 for ~3$. They have some ugly scanline filter enabled by default. Whatever, with Castlevania 1 and 3 bought on 3DS i think i'm primed to start the series.

Also got some more games from humble bundle and autumn steam sale:
TIS-100 -- yet another programming game for a programmer. Now i can do the same thing i do on work some more and NOT get paid, yay!
140 -- some kinda interesting platforming game? It's on Wii U too
Spelunky -- i kinda liked freeware version. People who say it's the best game ever are crazy (especially if compared to either Binding of Isaac), but it's a worth it for 3$.
Lethal League -- played and liked free flash version a while back, might be a cool game to play with a friend

Arrived from England (DS and Wii game are here just for show):

I kinda wanted to get Rhythm Heaven 3DS digitally but it's more expensive and i ran out of space on my SD card. The latter was a more deciding factor. Space is even more important because i have bought Link Between Worlds digitally a few months ago, but to install it i will have to do some serious fridge cleaning.

Same reasoning with Puzzle and Dragons 3DS really. The game even had discount on My Nintendo but it was so measly it was still cheaper to get it from another country from across the world with shipping included.

Last Halloween i also finally gave in and bought Binding of Isaac: Rebirth + Afterbirth on Steam and it has taken over most of my gaming time in the last weeks (73 hours in and i've barely started honestly with just 108 achievements unlocked out of 276). Also bought Castlevania 1, 3 and Mole Mania on Nintendo's sale.

More recently also bought some cheapo humble bundles: Shadow Complex (i had it earlier on Epic Launcher when they were given it for free but it's more convenient to have it in Steam) and Dirt 3 (for free).

Europe gets F-Zero X on virtual console! :O
Oh man, i want it but reading people's impressions about quality of N64 emulation on Wii U VC (display lag?), i think i'd rather buy it on Wii as i originally planned even if it will turn out more expensive.

Man, all those crazy configurations...

Switch looks is gonna be LEGO/Transformer style console where you're constantly take it apart and put it together in every which way.
