Yeah, agreed with Klonoa, I thought something else came up, but this bit of news is several days old.

I'm pissed, I don't even have enough coins for it. I'm missing 120, but I'm pretty sure I'd be close enough to it with Post Play surveys to justify buying something on the eShop to get there, if I hadn't waited until now to register a pile of games.

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo Weighing Multiple 3DS Zelda Options

I'd prefer A Link to the Past, because it was my first Zelda game and I love it, but I didn't play Majora's Mask, so I wouldn't mind it either. As long as I get another portable Zelda, I'm good.

More Ubisoft shovelware on a Nintendo console? You don't say! What a twist!
Hah! How ignorant. Assassin's Creed and Rayman Legends, shovelware? How about reading about it before spreading uninformed opinions?

I'll definitely be less excited about listening to each week's episode after this.

On the bright side, there's someone to represent the glorious Québécois master race.

I don't consider DLC to be a pro considering it costs money. You might as well write "it exists" as a pro.

I guess it's nice that it's free to play at certain times, though I still wouldn't buy it if I had access to it.

Is it normal that the Updates option tells me none of my titles need to be updated, but when I go to My Downloads I can see many games that have updates available?

What is in those updates anyway? I've got some for basically all my Virtual Console and 3D Classics games.

I like the graphical design.

I find it weird that there's no general thread for Kid Icarus.

Anyway, I found the controls to be tolerable, I am left-handed and use the default settings. It hurts after a while even on the first level, unless I'm resting the 3DS somewhere. But it's not like it's unplayable, just a bit inconvenient for a handheld game.

I use auto-fire too. It actually helped me figure out not to shoot the monster with the skull face, because it doesn't do so automatically.

The worst issue with the game isn't the controls at all, to me it's the fact that I can't retry a level at intensity level 9 after dying. I hope that's one of the things they change with the upcoming patch.

No offence but I want to punch the drawn versions of you in the face. Not too sure why.

But I'd buy a minimalist version if shipping isn't too expensive.

Oh right, forgot that VC had games from other platforms than NES/SNES/N64.

Takeshi no Chōsenjō is the best anyway.

Takeshi no Chōsenjō is a must play. It's even on Virtual Console (in Japan of course). Or any frustratingly hard game.

If it's not restricted to Nintendo platforms then Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards and Prince of Persia are neat too. I'd really love to hear you talk about Leisure Suit Larry especially.
I don't know if it's feasible to find a "legit" copy outside of eBay, but Jordan Mechner (the man behind PoP) has a link to download the game on his personal website. There's an SNES version of it too but it's not the same and it's quite a lot longer.

All these games are really short too.
