Nintendo Gaming / Need for Speed Underground languages

Does anybody have an idea why NFU (or any EA games) for the GC doesn't have an "Languages" option? I have seen it runing on X-box in spanish, and I'm sucure that the PS2 version have this option as well.

I have Prince of persia, and i'm really enjoying the game wiht the Spanish transalation. I saw in a tv game show calle "Atomix TV" (mexican, bad, and really lame, but it's the only) the "review" of Beyond Good and Evil, and in the scenes from the game the text was in spanish, and I think the voices too, but it was the PS2 version. Can anyone tell if the GC version it's in spanish as well?

I just got PN03 and Viewtiful Joe, and I really like both. But right now I have two months working, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., monday to friday, and I don't have enought time to play any, worts even, I haven't finished F-Zero GX, NBA Street Vol. 2 and Soul Calibur II, and to make all any worts, I still live with my parents XP (not because I wanted to, but becuse I'm planning my Master Degree) and can't play freely. I realize I'm an idiot while, going from work to my house, I was planning if I'll buy FIFA 2004 and NFS:UG or THUG or True Crime Streets of LA, when I remember that I have unfinished games (my only truly finished game is Eternal Darkness. Take this advice, don't buy games just because they are available and you like them if you don't have time to play, without forgeting other things.

General Gaming / How can I know if my TV supports Progressive Scan?

I have a GL Flatron TV with component input, and when I select that input, the message [480i] appears on screen. Does this TV support Progressive Scan?, and most important, if I connect my cube using this input, all my games will still work?. I'm asking because  I'm having a lot of trouble getting those d*wn component cables.

It's the game or the console?, because in some parts, it makes a chirring sound (or something like clack, clack, clack). I don't know, the cube is new (about 2 weeks) and my old, broken GC do the same sound with that game.    --- ---

General Gaming / My Cube stops working after a while.

When I turn on my cube, it starts as normal, but after a while, the message "Can't read the disk" begin to appear, but all my disks are clean and un-scratched, what can i do?. If I open the lid and the close it, the game continues, but the message appears after a while.

P.S.: My cube is more tha a year old.
