That fact that u said it though is hilarious!

I referred FFX-2 to that b/c Yuna is ugly and Rikku are scantly clad.  I'm willing to bet Square used that as it's selling point.  Add the fact it's a cash-in sequel, and I bet if Nintendo did a similar thing, everyone would be bad-mouthing them left and right.  And what's with a pop singer being a class?  O_o

KDR - My first OoT game was on the GC too.  I rarely had problems with the camera.  It not perfect, but it is still better than most games today.

4. The buttons have unpronouncable shapes to indentify them instead of letters.  The human brain adapts better to letters.  I respond very easily to "press A to do this".  If I hear "press Square to do this" I have to look down.  It's just too difficult to associate shapes with functions after a whole life of reading only letters and numbers in books, signs, posters, TV, movies, etc.  This isn't ancient Egypt.  Ditch the stupid shapes.

Thank you.  I thought I was the only person who hated the shapes on the face buttons.  I'm guessing Sony came up with it to be different and cool.  Ditch it and be like Nintendo and MS, Sony.

And I also want add that I dislike the position of the analog button.  It's right b/w the 2 analog sticks and they get in the way when I want to reach it.  Thankfully it doesn't get pressed often.

General Gaming / RE:Burnt out on gaming and how many bought games?
« on: July 05, 2004, 03:41:35 AM »
I'm the type of gamer who likes to play a wide range of genre.  If I play one particular genre too much, I'll get bored of it real fast.  Thus why my game collection is weird.

I have a policy of completing my games before buying a new one (like Ian), with the exception if I can pick it up cheap.  I try to complete all my games, unless I get sick/bored of it or is too hard for me to continue.  I also don't have the time to play all the games I want, therefore I have to be very selective.  Right now, there aren't many games that interest me.  Currently, I have 2 games I haven't started playing (they are RPGs, and won't start till the summer (that's winter for you folks in the northern hemisphere)), and 2 I haven't completed yet.  I recently completed NiGHTS into Dreams (bought that along with a second-hand Saturn), and am looking into buying some good Saturn games I missed out on, like Panzer Dragoon.
