This is all I want for the US. Forget all of the stuff Greece got, all I want is this sweet Ocarina!! I actually think we do have a good chance of getting it, maybe. I mean think about it: This is a remake that prides itself on being such, and it is a sort of commemorative sort of thing to buy. I'm thinking a sweet pre-order bonus (I.E. the ocarina) is sort of a big thing for everyone, I'm really hoping Nintendo won't let us down..!

I would be much more excited for this if it was going on the 3DS's eshop channel too.

Boo.

Some interested in rare and hard-ish to find things may want to get this when it first comes out :p

Then again this thing might sell well in Japan, I wouldn't know. As for the US, I don't think so..?

"A pubic demonstration had been planned for the end of March in Akihabara, Tokyo. However, it was canceled due to the quake."

Thank goodness  :Q

But seriously I'm really happy this wasn't canned, yay!

@BlackNMild2k1

Since my entry was already shown on the list of all of the submissions, should I still enter in the funhouse contest? If so, could you please give me a link to it, I'm still sort of new to NWR.

"That contest ended almost a month ago. Just accept that it's not gonna happen and salvage your hard work in the Funhouse where it can be mocked & criticized accordingly."

Do you honestly think that it's a fact that it's not gonna happen? If so, you assume things waaaaaaay too easily. Yeah it was a month ago, that doesn't necessarily mean that all of the NWR staff forgot about it or that they decided to cancel it after getting loads of submissions-as already stated-with no announcement as such.

^Nah, I would prefer NWR actually doing it as originally specified, I just wish they would hurry up.

Interesting, although it doesn't look like Wal-Mart is being any more generous than GameStop in terms of good trade-in prices...

Stupid THQ, the way they run their company you know they'll never have remakes of their licensed games and I don't think the new teams behind the new Spongebob games are capable of creating new Spongebob adventure/platformers that are good. There goes any chance of a Battle for Bikini Bottom on the Nintendo 3DS...

IMO the biggest problem with the Kingdom Hearts franchise is the reuse of all of the same freaking content. Seriously, isn't it a little sad that the biggest feature that every Kingdom Hearts game has to offer aside from Kingdom Hearts I and II is that they actually have (a little) new content? The amount of ports and remakes is beginning to get unbelievable.

With that said, I didn't expect much of anything new from Kingdom Hearts 3DS at all, and sense it has new worlds and supposedly ties in with Kingdom Hearts III (which is a confirmation about Kingdom Hearts III existing that's exciting in itself), I will definitely think about picking it up once it and the Nintendo 3DS releases.

Hm...

Although I'm not buying this because I loathe sports games, I gotta say, nice graphics. I am really excited for the 3DS, it might be the first video game system that I pick up at launch.

"Originally, Butch was in the Glacier World's seas cleaning up a chemical spill from a potion sucked in from Master Fulcrum's lab, but when we decided to go in the direction of collecting Chapter Stones, he became a surly porpoise resolute on drilling the ice, searching for an elusive Chapter Stone."

Could this maybe have had anything to do with being controversial towards oil spills, or no? I guess since your idea of Chapter Stones has been around before the recent oil spill that is unlikely, but it still seems like an interesting coincidence, or maybe it's just me over-thinking it  :P:

I also enjoyed your guys' throwaway story, mostly for two reasons:

 1. For me it's always been about the events and characters in a video game, not necessarily the main plot, but how the player progresses through that main plot and what memorable characters and events are experienced along the way.

 2. Since Flip is actually in a far-off land inside of a magical book, if a sequel ever arises not only could you show a more consistent or in-depth universe if desired (much like what Banjo-Tooie was to Banjo-Kazooie), but it would also be less constraining for the plot to create a whole other universe with new characters and worlds without it seeming like an inorganic or unnatural progression.

Personally I always tend to love the first of a platforming series the most for having all of the basic themes (Super Mario 64, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Banjo-Kazooie, etc.), but more and more am I starting to appreciate a series' progression into a universe that is more of it's own, although that doesn't mean it NEEDS to be dark like Jak 2 or Banjo-Tooie.  :)
