Star Wars threads stop being fun so quickly around here.

vote masb

Just trying to keep things spicy.

I also would never trust Khush. That's Mafia 101.

I'm pretty sure that's happened before, but the way this game is going, there might be another!

And that's just the way it is.

Just reading up on the virus rules. Did Shyguy have an unkillable virus? or was he protected by something else?
I can say that the viruses for the first day if not cured would have gone into effect today the second day so he did have something that protected him that wasn't a virus.

Ah, thank you!

So, Shyguy either is or knows who is the doctor? What a twist!

There's a doctor, right?

Zion gets surgery, will be out 6 to 8 weeks.

As much as they downplayed the injury, the fact that it required surgery feels ominous about the kid's career.  Here's to hoping he doesn't see any more injuries.

I'm tempted to vote for Kushrenada for reasons that should be obvious, but between him and Silenced, I dunno who to trust. :(

1185
Man, there are a lot of rules to the game.  Tough to keep track of who is what and who has which virus (just like the dating scene, am I right folks?)

I like Silenced's strategy of trying to draw out the mafia based on yesterday's vote.  Will wait a bit and see what pops up.

1186
Should probably vote for Khushrenada since he's probably mafia, but I'll wait for him to expose himself since targeting him early has hurt me in the past.

Not a fan of the hood, but then again I love camp.

He wears the hood because, in the Telltale series, Riddler's an old man (in his late 50s/early 60s if I remember right). He was running around tossing out riddles back in Thomas Wayne's day. The hood helps to hide that.

That makes sense, and is a pretty practical solution.  But I still miss the hat.  And hoods are kind of a young person thing.  Like Damian or Cloak.  I always think of them as young and hooded.

"Gin is nature's epidural" is a great t-shirt slogan.

Played some vidya games last night.  Pro controller was working great.  Didn't use the D-pad much, but I do remember having the same problem others described.

I forgot to pick something to cosplaypost as! Maybe I'll just be a crossover item. . .

The ears on that are cartoon-ishly big.  Not a fan.  The Telltale suit looks great though.

To note: this is the same knee injury that was hurt the last time Zion played meaningful basketball, which was at Duke when his sneaker blew apart during a game.  Two back-to-back knee injuries before his first real NBA game is pretty worrying.  Coach Gentry made light of it, but Zion, being 19, is probably not gonna be as bothered by an injury mentally/emotionally as a more experienced player, especially his first one as a professional.  We'll have to wait and see, but I agree that Zion should probably cut weight.  As we saw with Blake Griffin, playing primarily above the rim is bad for the body, and as we saw with Derrick Rose, habitually bad knees are bad for the career.  The extra weight is probably not helping Zion's situation in either regard.

I accept that LeBron misspoke on calling the Rockets GM "misinformed" or whatever. But I think what he's really not saying is that the league was in a tough situation with China while he was there . When he mentioned the consequences of saying things, he's probably referring to a reasonable fear for the safety of his teammates, league employees who were there, fans, and his own.

I can maybe tell you better this weekend.  I've got a break coming up where I can get some play time in, and I have a launch unit.

By the way, is NOE doing the free joy-con repair?  The repair time may not be ideal, but I sent 3 joy-con to NOA and got them back in a few weeks and all it cost me was a trip to the UPS store.  (I already had an appropriately sized box and used some packaging from an amazon order as filler.)

Marvel is absolutely kicking Fox’s X-Men films to the curb. It doesn’t care about them. Dark Phoenix flopping critically and commercially certainly helps Disney’s case. Judging by the Phase 4 announced lineup, Marvel wants to put some space between X-Men releases so maybe they’ll finally debut in Phase 5.

Anyway, Deadpool is in a weird spot because it wasn’t really an X-Men movie. The character even cracked jokes about how Fox wouldn’t let them use other mutants. Marvel can easily slot him in the MCU and ignore or retcon any Fox X-Men connections. Maybe treat the first two like it does The Incredible Hulk. “Yeah, it happened, but we’re just not going to talk about it.”

I think they even reworked the Skrulls out of Dark Phoenix in order to not confuse anything with Captain Marvel.  They kinda screwed that movie just to get rid of it.

I thought Viacom had it, since last I watched it on TV, it was streaming on Comedy Central.  I guess it makes sense if Fox still owned the rights, since they made the show, and were just syndicating.  But I thought the ownership might've gotten mucky after Cartoon Network wouldn't pay for new episodes and it wasn't clear how much CC was paying for the movies.  But then again, this could all be my poor recollection of events.

1198
It's kinda crazy that they have this successful Deadpool character/franchise that's all but ready to integrate into the MCU, but the X-Men basically need to start from scratch.  I'm more than willing to wait for them to sort it out, but I hope the supporting cast they've built around Deadpool stays in tact and makes it into the MCU X-Men.  I'd honeslty love to see an X-Force movie.

At least I won't have to watch any Netflix trailers.
