And if you want LOTS of sequels, you'll buy Nintendo games. Ooooo BURN on Nintendo!

Eh who am I kidding? I buy every single one of them.

Miyamoto: Well, by that I didn't mean that Mario is going to be the game for adults, but rather I wanted to say more specifically about the game, is that the character is going to look less childish. I'm not saying that Mario is going to be like Conker's Bad Fur Day. You have seen Luigi's image in yesterday's footage, and I think that you would agree that Luigi is less childish now, that's the kind of thing that I was talking about when I referred to Mario becoming more matured.

Ah. Well then thanks for that info, somehow it slipped passed me...like my life. Anyway it's nice that you bothered to find the source. I appreciate it.

So by more mature, it's meant to be less childish looking. I guess I can handle that. Just so long as Mario doesn't run any hookers over with his car.

If I did that I might as well just chuck my pc right out the freaking window. Why do you think I became a Nintendo fanboy to begin with? So I could bitch about Yamauchi that's why! Why we've dedicated a whole new thread over at my site to just comparing Iwata to Yamauchi. Everyone thinks I'm too hard on Yamauchi. And they are absolutely right.

Edit: Man I really have to learn to spall one day.

Well everything has it's downside. As does FireFox. But just knowing how much more secure you are using it makes it all worthwhile for me.

Hey Nintendo themselves should have been pushing this game like there was no tomorrow. Nintendo should have realized that they don't get many opportunities to shed their "NINTENDO IS FER GAI BABIES!!11one" image. They should have jumped at the opportunity to say "HEY LOOK! WE HAVE METAL GEAR TOO!"

i liked the super mario very much and im still playing (unfortunly on an emulator) but dont forget about super mario kart : double dash!!
that is a good game also, right?
the new mario should have the old power ups an themes AND the 2d game-play, still mario 64 was good but not good enough, and luigi should come as gameplay too, or like an alternative toad and the princess in mario bros 2, throw away those mario party's , im wtf is that? its a stupid board game!...but there is coming a new mario only Miyamato said there a problems with the controller and mario AND Luigi will be much mature then before, not too mature like killing hookers in GTA3, but im hope for some screenshots bcuz we have no E3 in Holland  =(
btw im new

What was it that made SM64 not good enough in your opinion? And who and when was it said that the next Mario title would be in any way "mature"?

Oh and welcome to the forums!

Did you ever play the Mario Ice Hockey mini-game in Mario Party 5? It was like pure crack.

I don't have a Hori pad and I have experienced this "ghost file" problem before. So it can't be the controller, at least probably not.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Plantinum Controller no longer set for release?
« on: October 10, 2004, 04:46:46 PM »
I haven't heard anything along those lines yet. But it would make sense. Since the Metroid bundle isn't doing all that well, perhaps Nintendo, anticipating a lower demand for the platinum controllers, shelved the idea of shipping more.

I hope that SK continue to work with Nintendo on some level in the future. Particularly with the DS in mind. I system designed with such advanced gamecontrol methods would be PERFECT for SK. They seem to want to put the emphasis on overall game design evolution as opposed to great graphics anyway. The DS is perfect for Silicon Knights.

Yeah I'll admit that when I picked up my copy of Timeslpitters 2 it was at a discounted price at my local Best Buy. I figured "Hey! Thirty bucks! Looks fun!" So I picked it up and I fell in LOVE with that game. It would have been worth it at twice the price.

If you're asking me if I'd like a game where Mario burns the flesh off of zombies, then the answer is yes.

True enough but Nintendo could find a way to do it without it being intrusive to the gameplay. Or they could just eliminate that part of it and just recreate the universe of SMB2 without the throwing vegetables part.

Just so long as I don't have to screw around with some damn piece of equipment strapped to Mario's back the whole time. I swear does Shiggy just LOVE Ghostbusters or something?
