And AiAi, I shall have my revenge!
I've suggested something to Infernal - if he does it of course!

I'll probably see it on Saturday (depends on the recovery from Friday nite )

I really liked Spiderman, and liked Daredevil too. Some people say its a clone of Spiderman, which is garbage. Sure, they're both in outfits and jumping from rooftops. That's where the similarities end.
I liked Daredevil because it's not as clearcut as Spiderman was, with the good-vs-evil concept. Hulk looks to be going the same way. Can't wait!

And I think PIAC's going on about DKC being ported to GBA. Diddy Kong's Quest and that third one (never played it, meh) will likely follow.

General Chat / Evanescence - Any of you guys like them??
« on: June 25, 2003, 03:12:42 AM »
Well Bring Me to Life sold me, and I went out and bought the album.

For pete's sake, they are NOT goths. Even if they were, they still make good music.
I don't actually have a song on that album that i skip over regularly.

And for some reason, the MP3s on the net don't give you the background noise during songs and in the interludes between songs. There are a few songs backed by a choir actually. Gives the album a eerie feeling, and works well. And Amy Lee's singing is something different. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it hooked me.

Well Grace Bros can cram it with walnuts for all I care. Bleh.

Looks like I'm gonna have to search hard to find SoA and Burnout 2 - damn. Effort blows.

Infernal: for some reason, I can't seem to see your comics when i click the link. Some "Server is down" message. It's probably my ISP that's stupid, but I'd love to see them.

Now I want Wario Ware too. Money gone.

Mario: Get TS2, and wait for HL2. 4-player is hella fun! And it has monkeys!

Infernal: I think just touching the game make you go Hulk.

Infernal: Yup, it was on TV. Can't remember which one. And they said there was a new colour of SP! *more drool* looked to be a dark blue colour, but that was just shown at the end.

I saw Control Freaks too, for the first time in about a year. The EyeToy is funny, but I don't need a game to make a fool out of meself!
Mario Kart DD looks cool, but I've heard people at E3 say the game is lacking depth or something, so I hope it is indeed better than Mario Kart 64.

Yeah, the sale is Australia wide. I had a look at my local on Thursday, hoping to find a cheap GS1, or at least Burnout 2 or Skies of Arcadia, but I left empty-handed.

And I saw the ad for Donkey Kong Country (SNES port) on the GBA/SP. The old-skool is strong in this one! Mmmmmm.

Haha. "Geeks lining up to prove their geekage." Was that including you guys?

As for Hip Hop and Rap, I couldn't care less. I actually loathe Eminem, but apart from that I don't care.

But that's just me.

Man, I missed it again. D'oh!

It wasn't on again. Curse you Seven! Some Providence show instead. Bah.

And I'll add you guys as soon as MSN decides to stop playing up!

Curse you EA. Where's the Cube support?
And they said they'd make sure it would be on the Cube too.

And it's not xbot, it's xbawx, y'all.

And Pokemon Box?? WTF? Dude, it's a box, filled with, ah, Pokemon.

Hooray for F-Zero GX (or whatever they put on the end of it this time) getting here soon.

And September is when I officially get another year older, and get my full license. Yay!

The kbps refers to the number of bits per second. Divide that by 8 to get the approximate amount of bytes.

So 56kbps is like 7,000 bytes per second, so when you take out transmission and parity bits, it's not so bad. About 6 kilobytes per second isn't bad. Especially when you thrash it with KaZaA and GetRight. And hog the phone line.

But cable will always win. *shakes fist at modem* Why are you so crippled??

Until I get some more work, or win the lottery, I'll have to put up with this.

Mario: No, Angel doesn't own. If anything, Buffy owns. Mmm, lesbians.

I would have thought Zelda WW would be a good choice. Good adventure, nice story - even for newbies to understand, pretty colours, fairly easy, and hints of romance too?

And don't let her go to the Dark Side, unless you want to join her over there?

If it's any consolation, If I found a girl who was as interested in games as I was, I'd probably be doing the same thing as you.

But I've got heaps of mates who like console and PC games, so I'm happy to settle for a non-gamer.

Yeah, they didn't show Futurama in Adelaide either last night. Why Angel? Seriously...

Termin8, I might get around to reading the story, but I have exams in the morning so I don't want my mind to be too warped.
Oops, too late.

I've been playing Golden Sun 2 lately. Very good. I wish I still had the original
The connection they mention allows you to, when you meet up with the others, pick the best four out of eight. Sweet.
If you played the first one, get this. If you didn't, hang your head in shame, then get it.

Maths exam tomorrow. Bah.

Hang on a sec - is that those 5.1 speakers on special ay EB? They look nice, damn nice. If only I had a nice computer to make use of them. $200 off is a bargain too, like half price I think...

Hmm, I think I have some old NMS mags. At least most of the N64 Gamer mags.
I'll go dust them off, and reminise (sp?) about those days.
*sigh*

And I'll laugh at the quotes - and maybe share a few. I could post pics too, meh, maybe.

I love my school jumper - I wear it like a caveman wears his latest slaying or something like that.
I would have loved to have "Shifty" across mine, but for some reason the people arranging it were idiots.

We had Christian Education in Year 12, but towards the end of the year that became a bludge lesson so we just did whatever we liked.
Me, others: "Hey. We're going now."
Teacher: "Where are you going?"
Us: *shrug, walk out*

And that was it.
We'd go play basketball, kick the footy, go to other Year 12 classes, pretty much anything.
That's probably why these guys have been screwed around this year - we had free reign of the school and stuffed it up. Hah.

They lost their jumpers because we wore them when we were supposed to wear our blazers (most of the time).

PIAC: Go NOFX. Love those jumpers!
I'm looking out for a Less Than Jake jumper - I've seen them at their official store, but I'm not forking out for frieght! Bugger that!

And wasn't it Narayan (the Goldeneye lover himself) who defected to the dark side (PSM), and came back to Nintendo Gamer later? I think that's what happened...

Our screwing around was our legacy to the Year 12s this year, who we loathe.
As a result they suffer:
~ No Year 12 Jumper
~ Banned from Common Room
~ Less Free/Study Lessons

And they're actually worse than we wre, with the whole dodgy drivers/skanky chicks/nerdy nerds.

And Nintendo Gamer isn't out yet. I've got the RPG edition, but the Resident Evil chick is making me drool. Is it Milla or what? Tell me.

And Cube is quite dodgy. They game SSB an 8.5 out of 10, so I'm boycotting them until they get a logic implant or something. As for the rumour of a demo disk, I wouldn't expect it, consider actualy Gamecube demos are rare, unless its an E3 disk, which I would get! Mmm, demos. I still have those Hyper demo disks actually *drools over Spaceworld Zelda and MGS2 trailer*

Hooray. PGC is back. *bitchin shakes go away*

EXAMS! AURGH! I've got four in two weeks. Not bad, but they're all really stupid. First one's on Saturday - that's Maths. And it's in the morning too. Then there's Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Physics.

Pencil down the 25th - my last day for this semester. Who knows where I'll end up from there? We get four weeks or so off.

AiAi - You a WWE fan eh? How can I tell? My powers of deduction are quite refined, biyatch! Wassup with that? Guess who that is, and you'll get a grand prize of nothing!

Infernal - who paid attention at school? Even up until the end of the year, we screwed around heaps, particularly Maths 2 (which I ended up getting 18.5 for - go figure!). And then there was the Common Room, our Year 12 hangout. It was supposed to be a study room, but that rarely occured. Football in the school courtyard, banging on windows of classrooms, and generally doing jack were standard for us!

I've held off on getting my computer built until after exams - motivation or something. It'll be teh 1337 too!

Seeya on the other side, possibly.

Mario - I've never heard of Theater of Tragedy either. Meh. Who cares? I love Fallen - awesome stuff.
And the new Linkin Park album isn't bad. Not the smash Hybrid Theory was, but a lot darker. I've heard a few songs off it, and am waiting to get it. Numb is stuck in my head at the moment.
And Eminem. The less I say, the better. But he's obviously doing something right if he's rolling in the money -  good marketing, hate maybe?
The White Stripes - my fave is still 'Fell in Love with A Girl' - go the Lego clip!

Way to go Infernal. Ever heard of the term 'firing up'? That was a great rant!
And flamings a swear word? Not to nit-pick or anything, I just find it amusing.
"Got hot chicks" - worst excuse ever. Ever heard of getting a life?

I'm very into the whole concept of 'firing up' except I rather talk it, because then I don't think about what I say. Damn conscience!
Give me a few drinks, a target of some sort, and a topic to go on about, and I'll give you a show! Word up.
