Nintendo Gaming / Zelda and misprints go hand it hand it seems

Nice, PIAC.  Brilliant, to say the least.

I thought you meant AOL (as in internet provider) and LoZ.  I had no idea what this would be.

I can't wait to get it, but I'm going to play it like my other Zelda games. . . nice and slow. . . liesurely.  I love Zelda games. . . ANTICIPATION!

Nintendo Gaming / Voice Acting - Yay or Nay?
« on: March 27, 2003, 12:29:01 PM »
The voice acting in Mario was disgusting.  They mostly tried to avoid that, though.

Nintendo Gaming / Green... or Red? Both it seems.

I heard about that. . . I have a red version, for N64.

People seem to be having immense difficulty with the Wind Waker vocabulary.  Fell and sidle. . .

Nintendo Gaming / Gamespot gives WW a 9.3, you agree?
« on: March 27, 2003, 12:23:41 PM »
It annoys me. . . one guy at EGM gave WW a 9.5 just for the sailing (the other 2 loved it), yet Vice City got all 10's, I think.  I find it hard to believe that Vice City has absolutely no flaws, and if it does, it's probably not flaws that some people actually like.  He should have mentioned it, but sitll given it a ten, in my opinion, if that was his only big problem.

Okay, if you you buy it cheap that's better than not getting it at all.  But I still suggest a sooner than later type thingy.

Nice, razorpit.

No, in most circumstances I would not kill for Nintendo.  However, in your case I'm willing to make an exception.

Nintendo Gaming / Metroid Prime Discussion
« on: March 27, 2003, 11:52:46 AM »
I always thought that it was illogical when people complained, then stated they had the right to complain when people complained about them complaining.  James Bond has a right to kill.  Does that mean he should go around doing it all he wants?  No.  I'm not trying to spark arguements or something, just saying, people don't like it if you use that excuse.

Or I don't, anyway, and that's all that matters.
It's no big deal though.  It's fine with me if you don't like scanning.

Nintendo Gaming / Nintendo Fans vs. the Third Parties
« on: March 27, 2003, 11:46:13 AM »
Godwheel, your number of games just plain hurts.

I only have one third party game: Gauntlet Legends.  It was fun, but I'm awaiting a few other good ones.  Like Killer 7.

No.  Voice acting with Zelda is just weird.

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda Preorder in Wal-mart
« on: March 26, 2003, 01:18:45 PM »
I ordered mine online, and supposedly the preorder disc comes along with the game.  I don't know if I'll be getting it, though.  I don't imagine I'll play it, even if I do.  WW will take up most of my time for a while, then another load of games will sweep in.

Nintendo Gaming / My LOZ:WW experience

ARGH!  The unbearable anticipation!  Our postal system is too inefficient. . . I may not get my game until Monday or Tuesday. . . Friday, if'n I'm lucky, but then I'll be gone until Saturday afternoon, and then I'll be leaving Saturday evening and I won't be able to play until Sunday.  I'm going to lead a life of good from now on because I realize this is what Hell will be like!

Nintendo Gaming / New to the forums but a Q about zelda
« on: March 26, 2003, 01:14:15 PM »
Because Zelda sounds a lot more exotic than Link for one thing.  Legend of Link sounds corny.  But the above post is another good example.

Sometimes people only see things as being games and don't see the dreams underneath it, the people that love it.  That brings it out.

Plus I think their a bunch of pissants that are just reluctant to give a nonXbox game a good score (only mostly kidding).

Nintendo Gaming / commercial ideas

I think it'd be funny if Link had a staring contest with someone.  Not sure who or why, but it could be funny.  Something involving his eyes, at least.

Yeah, "fell" is often used by people when they want to sound smart and mysterious-like.

Nintendo Gaming / GameCube oversells PS2 in the UK
« on: March 26, 2003, 12:58:39 PM »
I believe they've started doing the bundles. . . very good deal, it seems, and that may be the reason it's working.  Microsoft is taking more pain from all that free crap than Nintendo is with their lower sales (which seems to have changed).

Basically my opinion, Gharakh.  Matt oz, it's kind of sad if you think that way.  Also kind of illogical, but we'll ignore that fact.

I don't care if the spoiler showed Captain Olimar (or whatever) helping Link fight Andross with a friggin waterpack!  I'm still going to play the game.

Nintendo Gaming / Nintendo Fans vs. the Third Parties
« on: March 26, 2003, 12:50:25 PM »
I'm 16 and a loyal Nintendo fan.  Then again I grew up with it, and I'm far from wanting to pretend I'm cool.  I don't need to pretend.

Hmm. . . we call all non-Nintendo third party developers. . .
Nintendo is technically the only first party, right?  Ever since Sega dropped out of the console war.
And I was wondering, what's a second class party?
