Looked okay, but I had no intention of getting it, so I'm fine.

I don't think he'd be that old. . . cel-shading wouldn't seem the right type of medium for that age.  I doubt, though it's certainly possible, that more than a year will have passed between the two games.

Does Air Ride come out in September here in the States?  I'm not sure. . . I've already got the money aside for it and F-Zero, now all there is to do is wait.  I'm glad I don't have to get all the games Mario's getting, though.

Many apologies.  I know it didn't feel right when I typed it, but I didn't remember the punctuation in your name.  I'll do better next time

Sorry for such a vague answer, but it's hard to classify girl gamers since I know so few of them.

Most of those don't seem too bad, but I'm not sure what caused them.  I couldn't even see the ones on the last link.

I'll give a few suggestions that haven't been made yet: Super Mario Sunshine, though I'd rent it first.  Some people, like me, love it, but others were disappointed.  There are also many other games that I like/have, but I dare not recommend them, since they are very genre particular.

Luigi's Mansion is a lot of fun, but take heed, it is rather short.  I'd recommend it, though, especially if you can get it for cheap.  Super Smash Brothers Melee is a must-have, no joke.  Some good games that are coming out include F-Zero GX, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Pikmin 2 (methinks it's coming out fairly soon), Mario Golf (has anyone seen the commercial for this?  I thought it was pretty of funny), and many others, including games from the Capcom 5 and other Nintendo/Nintendo franchise games (Sega, for example, is making F-Zero, a Nintendo franchise).  I'm also getting Kirby's Air Ride, another racing game, but I'm not so sure I should recommend it, since it is "TEH KIDDIE!!!11!!!"  Looks fun to me, though, and you may want to do some research on it.

Yeah, cubed, the one thing about cel-shading was Link.  I didn't mind it that much, and he looked pretty cool in his pajamas, but if there was one thing I had to change, it'd be that.  I don't mind the characters; to me they look they did in previous Zelda games (OoT and MM).  The enemies, however, are outright awesome.  I realized it while doing the Nintendo Gallery.  Never before have a seen a more colorful and animated cast of enemies, and pretty much all of them are fun or interesting to fight.  All except seahats.  They annoy me.

Yeah, when I play OoT now, it's relatively boring.  MM is a little bit better, but not much.

cubed, you're right about the rental and purchase of PS1 games nowadays, but I imagine that's all a factor in backwards compatability of the PS2.  That's something Nintendo couldn't do, and it's part of their movement forward.

And I still play my N64 And heck, they still have a ton of games up for rental at the nearest place.  No Xbox or GC games, though.  Curse them.

Don't bother none.  No need to apologize.  At least, unlike some people, you took the time to glance The thread is named in a way that you might not notice it.

Best graphics of its time?  My man, have you seen Mario RPG?  There is probably a gap between the time they were made, but it's on the same system.  No, alttp could have been a lot. . . darker if they had wanted it to be.  Even the dark world in the game is pretty bright.  Seen the people that travel there without that moon pearl or whatever?  Link turns into a flippin bunny rabbit!  While I don't necessarily disagree with you on what you believe about the other points, alttp and WW are definitely similar graphics-wise.

I must make a note of all of these.  Truly scary movies are few and far between, and I've been trying to find some.  Hope to make some, someday

Ah, the Ring.  My friend said some parts were mildly disturbing, but that it was generally overrated.  Yes, that does involve a creepy girl. . . and a video tape.  Something about when you see the video tape you die after a certain period of time.  Or something.

I do not want to play all of my games in first person.  I desperately hope this is a bunch of BS. . . if you can do more than first person type gaming with it, I suppose it'd be okay, otherwise I might actually hesitate to buy it (gasp).

I know of one of those: Mischief Makers.  On my top 10 list of best ever non-Nintendo games.  Lickle for NES is on that list, thanks to save state.  Awesome games, both of those.

What movie?  Haven't seen it, though it looks like something Exorcist-esque.  Little girls being creepy is generally an effective method for insomnia.

Y'know, if you shine light on them with the Mirror shield, they get all shocked and don't scream for a little while.  Learned that after I beat the game, while I was doing the Ninty Gallery.  Came in handy later on.

Yeah, I got skills

The old ones freaked me out a lot, too, mainly because the scream seemed to come from nowhere.

You mean Sonic Mega Collection?  Awesome compilation.  Sonic's not my favorite, but that's an awesome game collection.  Methinks Sonic + 3-D = sucks, so going back to that was pretty nice (my friend, a Sonic fan, has it).  I'll have to give a link to his flash animation sometime.  It's hilarious, and it includes Sonic and Tails.

Yeah, Luigi's Mansion is pretty cool.  I don't remember what level I got, but it was a fairly modest house.

Infernal, yo comics are very funny.  My favorite, methinks, is still Shopping with Samus, though.

To this date, I have not met a girl that could beat me at a game (though my sister has gotten lucky on occassion).  But could just be because I never play games with girls.  And when I say that they can't beat me, I mean that if I didn't let them win they couldn't beat me.  Not to say they aren't out there; it'd be nice to have a challenge like that.  I just haven't had the opportunity as of yet.

Whoever asked the question. . . I think it was blue kitten or someone. . . most girls that seem to be gamers often range.  They vary from prep to tom-boy, so it's hard to say.  Sometimes they manage to be both at once.  I just wish I could meet some, either way.

I usually don't eat, but if my friends and I have gone to Junior's to get some food, I'll usually have a bite to eat.  Or in murk's room, when we have tons of snacks.  Usually a little bit of candy, cream soda or Sprite, and maybe some sort of chip or cookie.  I seldom eat while playing alone, though.  But Super Smash Brothers (informal, just for fun matches only) and Super Monkey Ball are usually snack games.
