Nintendo Gaming / Mario Kart characters

Hey, this month's GI said that there will be unlockable characters in mario kart, does any body have any guess's on who these are?  My guess's are maybe someone from the donkey kong universe.  Maybe cranky kong, or could you imagine kaptan K. Rool and King Koopa(i gotta go with bowsers old school name) teaming up!  Or maybe toad.  Having one of the original koopa kids would be great, but i doubt thats gonna happen.  Also i heard there were 2 koopa guys.  Is one a paratrooper and one a regular koopa?

I heard that on the new GC demo disk there were games you could put on your Gba. My local stores unfortunatly arent selling them seperatly, like some others are.  So have any of you played these games? and if so what are they and are they good ? thanks

Nintendo Gaming / are loyal fans getting snubbed

I went out and got my gamecube on launch date and payed 200$ and i still think its a good deal.  But now new owners who arent the best nintendo fans are getting Gcubes for 150 with a game boy player, while us loyal fans get jack.  Im not positive but i think theres a number on the back of the cube that could tell Nintendo when you bought your cube, so i think they should have us call in and tell them our number and they could at least send us a t-shirt or something like that.  What do you guys think?

First Im saying i Know theres a thread already started but there hasnt been many new posts on it and there getting off the topic.  So what do you guys think about what he saw so far of Mario Kart DD at E3.  I thought that the fact that you can race in the water with boat like things is awesome.  Has there been any character additions since they first released the info on Double Dash?  I think baby luigi is a new character but Im not sure, and daisy wasnt listed but was clearly visible on an early screen shot.  Have you heard anything other than what PGC posted wednesday about it?  The fact that Sonic Heroes or whatever its called is on all consoles, eliminates sonic and tails as possible characters.  But i still think diddy kong is pretty cool.

I remember reading about a new pokemon game coming out.  Could this be similar to pokemon yellow, and crystal.  Does anyone have any info on the new game.  If it is like yellow/crystal I predict it will be called Emerald.  I hope this is true.  We will find out at E3 proably, ey?

Nintendo Gaming / Help!! on original golden sun

I picked up golden sun and i thought it was alright.  I didnt get to far, i got into the temple where your by a river and you have to use the psyenery "move" to move the statues.  To find the real tribute to the sun, or whatever.  But whenever i use "move" it does not work.  I stand right in front of it and it does not do anything when i cast it.  Am i just doing something wrong or is my game defective.

At quite a young age i was introduced to atari then the nes.  One of my favorite games was punchout.  I was excited when i got to play punchout for the snes.  But i forgot about this good series until recently.  In animal crossing i unlocked the original punchout, and i wondered why cant nintendo make a punchout for the gamecube, old school fans such as myself would be quite excited.  And ive been waiting to square off against super macho man just one last time?  What do you guys think?

Hey, I picked up a GBA SP, last week and i love it.  But the 100$ price tag is a little pricey for a student who is looking for a job. So to get some cash to get golden sun I figure i would trade my GBC that i dont use anymore in for money towards golden sun.  Do you guys have any advice about what store is the best to do it in.  I know fun-co-land does it and i think they give yoou 20$, or they did this summer.  But is there anyother place that you guys know of that might have a higher trade in price.  Thanx

Nintendo Gaming / Is the SP the sexiest gaming machine

I got my platinum GBA SP just today, and it is great. Despite the A and B buttons being close together and the R and L buttons being small, this console looks and feels great.  It fits perfectly in my hand, and i have a comparitivly big hand.  It even looks great with its reflective surface and well lit screen.  So heres the question is there a sexier gaming machine then the SP?  In my opinion its only competitor might be like the purple gamecube, got i would go with the SP.  The x-box is certainly out of the question, so is the PS1 and 2 with its boring grey and black colors and designs.  What do you guys think, is the SP the defintion of sexy?

What do you guys think about this topic.  here are my feelings
1.good games are slated to come out for the N-gage the best will proably be a sonic game, but GBA has a library of games, which is full of sonic.
2.  N-Gage doubles as a phone, I think just about anybody who wants a cell phone proably already has one, and i doubt it is very high quality.
3.  I could be wrong but the N-Gage is around 500$ compared to the sleek SP's 100$ price tag, and its brother the regular GBA'S 70$.
4.  Sony and Sega have already tried to beat nintendo in the handheld war and they failed, and they are respected names in the gaming industry.

I know that sega has canned all of there sports titles for the gamecube, but where does this leave soccer slam and beach spikers? These were 2 good games that could improve greatly with sequels, but will sega make sequels to these games? and what system will they be on? I here black box(worked on soccer slam) was bought by someone it could be  microsoft but im not sure. anybody heard anything on sequels of these games.
