Nintendo Gaming / Re: Swapnote: What Is Your Favorite Note(s)!?

The first Swapnote I got was my brother sending me a picture he drew of a chair with shoes. It was from an episode of Borat that we watched recently. Here's the clip

Nice to see the 3DS rebound. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the momentum going in the new year.

I'm always up for a good pinball game, and this certainly looks like one.

I'll have to agree with Zach about Mighty Switch Force being the best eshop game on the 3DS. I only wish that there was more levels. It did take me awhile to beat some of those par times. I'm also curious as to what you meant by letting chance decide which of those three eshop games were the best?

Been trying to find this game at a reasonable price for awhile now. I should have picked this one up when I had the chance.

I'm not surprised that the game looks great. Having played both Jett Rocket and FAST, Shin'en really knows how to get the most out of the hardware they are working with.

I'm really digging the music in MSF. It also looks great in 3D as well.

Been playing this on my mac when I got the humble indie bundle a few days ago. I love the music in this game, very relaxing. Overall, its getting better the more I play it.

Was really hoping for one of the Advance Wars or Golden Sun games. However, that is a great set of games I have only played two of those from that list so I'm still excited.

Loving every minute of this game. So much fun. Can't wait to see the crazy levels other people design.

I take it you're not a fan of Landycakes.

I like how suspenseful that first gif is. ;D  I would totally support the idea of replacing review scores with gifs showing how much the reviewers here liked the game.

Have the original on WiiWare. Very fun but challenging. Especially, when the game starts to speed up.

I remember buying this game during my family car trip down to Florida way back in the day. I didn't really know what I was getting into. I just thought the box art was cool. Needless to say, it was one of best random purchase I have ever made.

I was addicted to Sega Soccer Slam back in the day. One of the few gamecube games I still pay every once in a while. Glad I am not the only one who has had fond memories of this game. This was one of the GC's most underrated titles. Anyways, this was definitely an enjoyable read. Makes me want play Sega Soccer Slam right now.

The blue 3DS looks slick in those pictures. Much better than the pics I see on retailer sites like Amazon. I'm starting to second guess my initial color choice.

After spending a week exclusively playing Golden Gun mode online, I finally won a match. A few short minutes after that, my Wii made a bunch of clicking sounds and went black :-\ . Now whenever I try putting in any of my Wii games, I get the infamous "error has occurred" message....sigh.

I hope this turns out to be true. I was pleasantly surprised by the first one. I would probably get it for the PS3, but I don't have the whole Move setup.

Big Chicago Fire fan here. With the roster that they had they should have done much better. They were tough to watch this season.

Everytime I turn my game on it freezes.  I need to send my Wii in I think..
Is the game stuck at the part where it asks you create a save file? If so, try removing any controllers or wavebird receivers you have plugged into your Wii.

The key word in that bolded sentence is "reliable."

And without NPD numbers to help with their estimates, they are going to be even farther off.
I know, I was just trying to make a joke. Which I'm obviously terrible at. Sorry for confusing you.

That really is B.S.  I love how the NPDs have slowly trickled down to nothing: first, we had the Top 20 every month; then the Top 10; then the Top 10 without specific platforms noted; and now absolutely nothing.  Brilliant, NPD!  This service was the only reason anyone cared about you.  I guess companies can still use them to find out how their competitors' games are selling, but we have no reliable data now to know how our favorite games are faring in the marketplace.

And I really enjoyed the monthly discussion on my various podcasts about the monthly NPDs, and that's mostly gone now.   :(
Well there's always that "one" site. ::)
