Well I was at work all day dying for the clock to hit 5:00. But there is a problem....my car is in the shop getting the EMS System Tuned for racing...so I have no car. Well I conviced a friend at work to take me home and much to my surprise my Girlfriend was home and offered to take me to GameStop to pick up the game!!!! Yes
Ok so we get there and the guy knew what I wanted. He handed the game over and asked for my ticket for holding the game. He also offered me the Strategy Guide at 30% off...hell I might as well so I picked that up to.
On the way back my Girlfriend said are you going to be playing that game all day...."I answered yes...why?" Well she had some important things to do in Animal Crossing so she convinced me to let her play AC for 10 minutes before I start the game up. I figured it would be ok cause I need to eat anyway. So I am eating and reading through the game manual and finally the time comes.
I threw the disk in and help down the B button in case you have to initialize Progressive scan for my T.V. The Title Screen came up and I felt so much joy. First off there is only one way to play this game and Metroid...and thats on a 57 inch Widescreen HDTV! Man this game looks so so awesome.
Ok so I didn't get that far last night...mainly because I keept playing with Link and making him do funny things. I also sat still for long periods of time to see what he would do.
My only problem now is that I have to go get a GameBox Advanced now, and share the game with 2 others. My Girlfriends wants to play and another friend wants to play. I got the Tinker thing and I am dying to use him. You should have seen all my friends faces last night watching the game on the HDTV.....so many people commented on how awesome the graphics are...I swear its like watching a cartoon.
