$100? Pfft, I could barrel roll into Target and get it for $89. EIGHTY NINE JOEYJOJO! BUT I WON'T, BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE METROID FUSION, AND ONE GBA GAME IS ABOUT AS FUN AS A MELTED BUBBLE-O-BILL!

CAPS LOCK!

And you could do the hook up thing without a stink pants GBA. Just buy another TV, another GC, hook them up, and BAM. BAM. See, isn't that the better alternative? BAM.

And yes, Shifty! You're on the right track with the insanity!

We apologize.  We have posted a wrong information about contents.
Street Fighter Alpha movie is a different (separate) item and not included for itme 3180.
Therefore, if you wish to return / exchange / refund your item (although, if you request for a refund, $7.50 shipping charge will be deducted):

Street Fighter Alpha?! I've got that poo, watched it the grand total of three times. Second and third were to try and spot exactly where I think they went wrong with it. I ended up solving my own mystery, it all went pear shaped from the very beginning.

ARRRRR! EVERYBODY'S GETTING/GOT CABLE! *Curls up and rocks in the corner while mumbling something about 'going to Seaseme Street'*

And research... On... The Internet? Only research I can think of that would require the Internet is porn research.

Hey, well who wants to wait till the second day of release, when you could line up at 4:30 AM and get a copy on launch day!

Great sales, anyway.

Heh, more like late January... 2027.

Remember, we never got Harvest Moon 64 released here, I have a feeling Natsume will blow us off once again.

Please take the basket off my head, it's extremely hot.

Er, yeah. I avoided the net for ALLLL of yesterday. ALL. I should get a MEDAL for that. A WHOLE DAY. ME! I was meant to be doing an ASSignment that's due in soon, but I went out and got DVDs. Yay! I gave in and got LOTR: TT (was going to wait for extended... but no) and the first volume of 'Please Teacher' (obscure anime) THEN I SAW A NINTENDO REP IN EB CHECKING OFF GAMES ON HIS LIST WHILE BROWSING THE PRE-OWNED SECTION!!!!!

WEEEEEEE.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: freeloader and viewtiful joe
« on: August 29, 2003, 01:43:11 AM »
Freeloader? No. Get an Action Replay, as they have a freeloader built in, and there's the whole 'hey, this game sucks, I'm going to destroy it with crazy cheats!' thing that Action Replay can provide.

You SHOULD be able to get them from any EB, though I've never seen EB carry it. A few smaller gaming shops near me stock it, for $89.95. Check around.

As for VJ. Errm... I dunno. I'm sure someone here can provide you with a good import website or something. I don't know of any Australian importing places that have a website. Where are you located? If you're in the general Sydney area, I suggest checking out a place called 'Games Infinity' in the City near Paddy's Market. They have all sorts of stuff avaliable, and at pretty decent prices, too. I've seen VJ there (Japanese) going for $130.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: mario kart bonus disk question
« on: August 29, 2003, 01:33:56 AM »
The Mario Kart: DD bonus disk is official. However, it will NOT contain Mario Kart 64. Cube-Europe confirmed it today, head on over there to read up about it. The bonus disc will be avaliable if you pre-order, and will contain GameCube demos.

Even then, I don't know if this applies to Australia, or even the US.

Doesn't seem like Nintendo get a say when it comes to third party releases. It was all thanks to the IDIOTS at Game Nation that Skies and PSO only got like, what... Three copies shipped here?

"AWWWWW, NOBODY WILL WANT THESE GAMES! ALL PEOPLE WHO OWN GAMECUBE ONLY WANT ZAPPER, BECAUSE WE SAY SO! QUICK, LETS GET ANOTHER 40,000 COPIES OF TOMB RAIDER FOR PS2 ON THE SHELVES!"

Lisa: DAD!
Homer: DO DO DO DAH DAAAAHHH! DAH DAH DAH DAH DAAAAAAAH DO!

But yeah, this sounds like an ass rumour. And ass rumours are the worst kind! Watch out next week as this obscure French site reveals SHOCKING news that Nintendo is actually teaming up with THQ to make the "CRAP BOX 4000!"

Nice to see Dead Phoenix isn't actually dead. This title sparked the most interest in me when the Capcom Five were announced. Since then, though... VJ has stolen its thunder in my storm. (What?)

We need all the Panzer Dragoon inspired games we can get.

... Both?
I dunno, I didn't actually have too much trouble with the sand snake, but that first one was a real bitch. THAT was the one that took me like a day to beat. I had to mute the TV after a while. The "waohohohwooo" noise that played when Link fell down the holes was driving me insane.

Yeah, I'll take Termin8's idea and reply to the subject header, too.

Yeah, they are, but they've always been around. It's only thanks to the Internet and forums that we've noticed them in full force, though!

« on: August 28, 2003, 01:02:49 AM »
Whaaaaat? VF4Evo is already bargain priced over that way of the world? It launched here for full price, and the original release is the same damn price. ;___;

Bitching aside, I did quite enjoy the original VF4 on PS2 when I hired it, like.. Last.. Year, or something. Graphics were pretty ass like, but it was quite refreshing to play a VF again after so many "SUPER MEGA FIREBALL DRAGON RAGE ATOM BOMB STRUT FIGHTER INSTICNT KOMBAT" games.

Have the graphics been touched up for Evolution? The jaggies made my eyes sad in VF4.

I've never had the ol' 'No game in case' trick, but when I bought The Sims on PlayStation2 (don't ask, really), I came home to discover a WONDERFUL copy of Sim City 2000 in there, for the PC. MMMM.

But I bought it from K-Mart, where they love to tear the shrink-wrap off, throw the discs under the counter, and sell you game boxes that have been picked up by hundreds of fat sweaty kids that have a saliva problem.

Just goes to show, you shouldn't hire old ladies and toss them into the audio-visual department.

NB: Kirby? Do we have Kirby here?

Kirby: Woooooooooooooo!

NB: Please don't attempt to suck up the Coke machine, Kirby. Now then, why should we choose you to be the exclusive character in the GameCube version?

Kirby: I can suck and blow!

NB: Oh God, this isn't a porn game, lad!

Kirby: What?

NB: I don't know what Nintendo have you doing, but this is a fighting game. Previous experience?

Kirby: Well, I DID star in Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64 AND GameCube.

NB: Yes, but our sources have told us you were a rather piss poor character when it came to the actual fighting. Your only real use was to clone others..

Kirby: THAT MAKES ME SO ANGRY! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

*Kirby devours Namco guy and turns into him*

*Another Namco rep comes along and sees the little pink blob wearing the other guys clothes*

...

Other Guy (OG): Oh, hey Bob. How'd it go? Who have we chose*... Wait... YOU'RE NOT BOB AT ALL! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE, KIRBY!

That snake boss took me almost a DAY of CONSTANT playing to beat when I was a wee monkey playing it on SNES. I swear, I was the crappiest gamer back then.

And yeah, they added the semi-speech for Link in the GBA port. He used to make a girly "HWA!" when he got hit in the original, that was it.

Hopefully I'll be able to log into MSN in a half hour or so. My Internet can't handle the "stress" of downloading something and trying to log in AT THE SAME TIME! GASP! *EXPLOSION*

Yes, this is why I plan on pre-ordering all the top third party GameCube games soon, it'll set me back a few $10 notes, but it'll be worth it. 'Tis sad about P.N.03, I mean, hell, that's the only new game we're gotten here in what seems FOREVER, and it's already impossible to get? Arg.

Hopefully Nintendo won't piss away this $10 mill it's going to recieve on more 'GameBoy Gallery' style adverts. Ie: spend the money on stupid rubbish instead of stuff that is actually exciting. I'll NEVER forgive them for choosing to advertise GameBoy Gallery over Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness..

HOLY CRAP NOREBONOMIS! Tone down your avatar to 64X64, buddy!

Anyway, *ahem*
I'm 19, and I've had my GameCube since about... Erm, September? Early September... Or it may of been late August. Hell, I can't remember. I have something like sixteen games. Check my IGN Game List for titles. GameCube was the console where I promised myself I'd stop trading in my games once they got boring, as it was a bad habit of mine. I miss my SNES/N64 collection. ;___;

But no, I've ended up getting rid of some games, but only crap ones. Like Aggressive Inline and NightFire. Yeah, bet that was an exciting read.

I'm still not quite sure what to think of Star Fox 2. The E3 build didn't impress me one bit. The characters themselves looked like something out of a first generation Nintendo 64 game, and the running around levels looked shocking.

R: Evolution looks quite cool, though. A racing game with a storyline! Hurray! As for Tales, well, I made up my mind that it was going to be a must buy from the first screens I saw of it.

Oh yeah, i-Ninja looks funky!

3825
Ahh yes, Mario gave me the link to this last night. Several years later (good ol' 56k) I witnessed it. It was pretty cool. More footage would of been nice, or at least a close up of the chick serving the guys the GameCube! ;___;
