I have been able to browse the site quite a bit tonight at different times.  I am very impressed as to how expansive the site is for games, info about the service, and setting up various router models with the service.

So hows the game TYP??

Yes, there were adverts for MGS: TS and ED.  The prob with ED's adverts was that they were (at least here) only played in the wee hours of the morning during the world cup which isn't a big enough draw of an audience for a video game.  Nintendo did the advertising for MGS: TS.  It is what ShyGuy mentioned above.

Uhm... I think Nintendo has pretty clearly stated before that you can use any pre-exisiting b/g wi-fi connection. The difference with Buffalo/Nintendo Wi-Fi products is zero configuration. If you're ok configuring wifi / entering WEP keys, you don't need the Buffalo/Nintendo stuff.

correct, you do not have to own Buffalo products.  You can own any practically wireless router and it will connect.

a guy on the ign boards (who is an employee of a game dev compnay in finlnd) has made the game jack proposed.  it is remarkable they were able to get the file size of the entire game so small with all the content in it. you can find the game here http://ign.pelikaruga.com/, its called JackThompson.exe.  don't worry, it is safe to download, i and many others have done it already.

PGC: Will Buffalo support operating systems other than Windows XP?

MS: Yes, if you use Buffalo wireless routers/access points with AOSS feature to use with Nintendo DS. We support from Windows 98 to XP.

Thats pretty much what a cameo is.  Just showing up.

Let's dissect the N64 one.  Out of the cameo appearances, Mario isn't playable in any of them.  In Banjo Tooie his name is mentioned in passing.  In DK64, you can play the original DK arcade game staring Jump Man.  In F-Zero 64, the character Mr EAD kind of looks like Mario.  In Majora's Mask, the Mask Merchant has a Mario mask on his backpack.  In Ocarina of Time there are some Mario themed pictures in one of the rooms in the castle.  In Pilot Wings 64 there's a Mario bust carved into the side of a cliff.  In Pokemon Stadium 2 there are a bunch of game screens on the TV in your room, one of which is Mario 64.  And in Sim City 64 there's a Mario statue you can get.

These hardly count as Mario spin-offs.

Did you happen to scroll down at all?

Spinoffs:
Dr. Mario 64 (USA only)
Mario Artist (series) (Japan only)
Mario Golf
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party
Mario Party 2
Mario Party 3
Mario Tennis
Mario's Photopy (Japan only)

Learning to read is good people.

That's kind of cool though it's kind of odd that of all the Final Fantasy games to pick from to remake in 3D they pick the ONE game that we've never had in North America in it's original form.  It's a cool idea but if there was ever a time for a straight port this was it.  Oh well.

Tell it to JPN players who voted for the game to be remade for DS.

to be fair, the nintendo versions were pretty much the only ones advertised by EA themselves unless it was a third party commercial like Walmart who featured them all.

didn't care to look in the horizon or do some research?  i could have named off prob close to half of the games that were gonna be at e3 before hand.

Mario Kart should be a part of the next Mario Bros game.  Kind of like GTA Mushroom Kingdom.

You are the very first person I have come across that has any sort of problems with the control scheme in Luigi's Mansion.  There was nothing wrong with it, it made perfect sense, and worked flawlessly.  Lets not forget it was the first game by many of the development team.  Very good showing in most people's opinions for a rooie effort.

Mario Kart in Mario Brothers game? O_o  What would be the point of that exactly?  Kill off one of their most successful game series ever?  I could see maybe as a mini-game in a 3D Mario world, but in full...no freakin way.  Dumbest idea.

Ian...shutup.,...seriously.  Your spouting the same thing over and over inevery thread and post just with different words.  But its all sums up to: Nintendo is dumb, Nintendo is dead.

I'll tell anyone in the world.  I want a GBA Micro just for no reason at all.  I like little gadgety stuff like most people my age.  As far as GB/GBC game usage, thats all fine and dandy if it in there or not.  I have my original gb still.  I have 2 gba, and and sp.  The GBM is designed to appeal to people who haven't been into handheld gaming before.  Those people will not have any GB or GBC games anyways so it isn't an issue.  Now, if they happen to find out that it will play the older games, they may or maynot buy one.  It doesn't matter.  Nintendo has already made their money off those games when they were originally sold.  With the micro they are brining in money from new sources, and their new games.

I twas there as well.  This year felt a little lackluster for some reason for me compared to last year.  Ya Zelda was cool, and Mario Kart DS, but I dunno, felt like there was just something missing.  Dunno what.  Or maybe it was from the almost 20 pounds of equipment i was carrying all 3 days, and the blisters on my foot =\.  Ah well....heres to next year!! Woooo!
