Hot diggity damn!!!  As someone who liked the original Conduit a lot (once you actually got into an online game there was no trouble from there) i'm glad they are giving themselves the chance to improve upon the first.  I honestly think the first one got undeservingly trashed, especially when it was compared to big budget shooters like Killzone and Halo, it's a game where you've got to take into account it was self funded by a fairly small independent company so it wasn't going to have all the bells and whistles of thoes other games.  at least not from the get go.

Other multiplayer modes confirmed include a co-op Invasion mode for up   to four players, online and off.   

Sounds like a take on Gears of War's horde mode to me.

Some old weapons will also be returning, and some of them will even   receive a facelift.     

I hope they have the Carbonizer Mk16 again, some of the weapons I think were one of the highlights of the game.  And I havn't had as much fun with a pistol since the original Halo, please don't gimp it like Bungie did.

Wow, first the 3DS announcement and then this.  It's almost as if there is some kind of mole in the Nintendo Offices that's just making announcements and launching services before the marketing guys are able to tell anyone about it.

I'm having fun imagining them releasing a title like this where there isn't suppose to be any releases for the week and then BAM!!!  Zelda Wii is out!

Something about them using the voice of the guy from the animated series reminds me of what they did with Batman Arkem Asylum, but I still don't think it'll be as good.

It seems with all these new Spider-man games the developers feel like they have to add something new that strays from what make the character who he is.  Don't add advanced hand-to-hand Combat in a Spider-man game, he fights with his webs god damn-it!!!  The same thing happened with the Tony Hawk games, they kept making the tricks more and more complicated that it was no longer accessible to those who weren't die hard skate fans like the originals were.

Sounds interesting but I'm currently on a constrained budget and have too much of a backlog anyway.

Same here.  Also, 10 hours seems a bit short for me considering they didn't have to make multiplayer and I'd have to buy a new Wii motion plus, but it's nice to know it wasn't another disappointment like the first game and should make an interesting purchase once it reaches a price drop/I get more money.

i'll see if i can find the paper i wrote on the subject... edit: nevermind, i found an old incomplete draft of the paper, but its not enough to be helpful. I wasn't as good at backing things up back then as i am now, i'll check some old CDs though.

Thanks, the kind of things I'm looking for are stuff that I can site as I present their evidence.

Entire books of the subject is going a little too far, it isn't that big of a project.  I'm thinking things like what Rodger Ebert stated on the topic, and other isolated articles.

I'm going to be working on a persuasive project for one of my classes and I think I'll be talking about Video Games as Art.  I'm keeping it broad for now until I'm able to read a few articles and narrow down the topic.  Thing is there are lots of gaming sites that have discussed this topic which is what I'm asking for help with.  I want to be able to look at as many sources as I can but I know I won't be able to find all of the ones I've come across in the past so what I ask is that if you know of any article or podcast that discusses this topic could you please post it here, I'd really appreciate it.

PS This may be the first post I've made but I didn't make an account purely to ask for help, the confirmation email for registering went to my spam inbox and I didn't realize this until recently.  Now that I've made a profile I plan on being a more active member on the site (at least with the news updates).

Once again, I would really appreciate the help.
