First and foremost, many of the motion controls have been changed. Instead of featuring multiple gestures, the game will now only feature two, which will perform the most fitting maneuver for the situation. For instance, if you're a defensive back and you do a gesture, you'll swat the ball down. Also, some of the moves, such as the spin move and the juke, have been mapped to buttons to make it simpler.

Hey someone gets it.  Just because you CAN make everything a gesture doesn't mean you SHOULD.  :o

You left out Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1, Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2, and AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack. That chart also includes rumored titles.

Weren't those really like DLC on a disc though?  Just a cheaper way to buy DLC in bulk and import it into the main game?  ???

Wow.  I want to throw my 2 cents in on this Mario Kart madness.

I agree DD is the worst MK game.  The main reason why is it is the most luck based game in the series.  At the time it was out I had a roommate who was a master MK64 player.  Previous to DD release, we would still have lots of friends over and have MK64 parties.  In Vs. racing, he won 2/3 of the matches, with 4 players.  Skill could trump random items.

In DD... everyone won all the time.  Learning tracks, selecting specific character items... none of is could overcome the random AI and ridiculous amount of blue shells.  Not to mention the Cup races against AI.  I can't count the number of times I got hit by blue shells in 2nd place by the ridiculous AI.  Unlocking 150cc and mirror modes was one of the most painful GC experiences I had... 2nd only to F-Zero GX story mode.  >:(

DD is a luck-based crap fest.  Thank goodness we can still hook up MK64 when people come over to play.  Or even MKWii, which still isn't as pure as MK64, but online play with 12 people is its own bonus that makes the game fun in a different way.

Also of note in the Best Buy sale this week... Naked Brothers for $9.99, with Logitech microphone included.

That's a $25-30 microphone by itself, from what I've seen on Amazon/Newegg.  Works with GH:WT, RB1, RB2, GH:M, and probably any other karaoke/voice game.

If you already had guitars and got game only, a sweet deal to pick up a mic.  And FYI, Gamestop is currently giving $5 store credit for the game only.  So I really got a $5 microphone, and put a reserve down for Tiger Woods.  ;D

Just another quick mention of a con for me.  GH:A is missing one feature that I loved from GH3.  Co-Op Career.  My wife and I were very frustrated with GH:A that we could not unlock new tiers of songs together.  We had to have a single band and take turns unlocking songs for both of us to play.  And then when you're trying to earn cash for unlocking songs, costumes, etc. you can't earn any cash playing multiplayer together.

Really kills some of the initial play and replay for us.

I'm really excited for this game only because it does feel spot-on and I think my dad would love it.

Likewise.  This game might finally convince my dad to buy his own Wii instead of coming over to bowl on mine every so often.

Reserved my bundle with motion plus yesterday.

I can see disc golf being the party game when people are over, just like Wii Sports bowling has always been.
