Kashogi your stuff is great!  What are you using to sequence your beats?  It really makes me want to dive back into making that sort of stuff.  I did it differently though, I use a gameboy! Moonpie combo, was made using nanoloop 2.1 and a gameboy advance.  Since then I've sold 2.1 to get a hold of !.3, which is for the original gameboy, and nastier!  If anybody cares to hear more, I've got a bit more.  I used to make a lot, so I've got a backlog!

I also play guitar, so Here's an example!.  Of course I'm only playing rhythm, but it should be noted that I wrote composition.  My friend is a recording technology major, and gets studio time at the university studio.  So it was recorded and mixed in a real studio!  A very fun experience.  He's the one playing bass, and he also sequenced the drums (from a beat I had sequenced on my gameboy).  And a friend from high school is playing the trumpet.

More than anything I'd like to make music for games.  Which is great because my roommate wants to make games!

I'm not sure about the bar swinging, that looks like a gameflow breaker...

I looks like a nice break from all the crap that's going on!

Shouldn't he be looking for someone else's treasure?  Or maybe sandwiches?  A presumed favorite?

I'll let you fill in the blanks.

Zepplin is far too EPIC to be contained by plastic instruments.  Plastic does not hold the fortitude for Achilles last stand, can your console sync with a guitar ORCHESTRA?  Can you imagine the set list?  You though 5 four minute songs were bad?  5 ten minute jams?  Inconceivable!  :)

Also, weren't the beatles a far more successful studio band?  These games normally show concerts, a live situation,  sure the early beatles stuff works in that context, but some of the later stuff uses the studio as an instrument.  How are they gonna illustrate that?  Plus I feel that the 4 instrument setup sort of fails to capture what mimicking the beatles would be like.  Pianos and keyboards become fairly prevalent, among string arrangements, in addition to the always present vocal harmonies, and playing a sitar is nothing like playing a guitar.  Not to mention it's gonna get pretty boring "playing ringo"  ;).  I'd say that this game has some pretty big boots to fit into!

p.s.
top 3 beatles albums 1.Magical Mystery Tour (reminds me of earthbound) 2.Abbey Rd (The second half is the greatest thing to come from rock music) 3. Rubber Soul (nice stark mixing)

p.s.s it'd be pretty easy to get a couple of acoustic guitars and a drum set and learn all these songs too, nothing too hard!

Didn't that game have some sort of ending where leon got like green (ZOMBIE!!!!) blood or some such?  Or infected with something or another (snot in his neck?)  I thought they removed it from the cannon because of that silly ending.  Nobody should really actually care about the spoilers, but I figured I'd add them in case someone thinks the RE story should make sense is in the middle of playing RE Gaiden.

Although!  That would be a neat remake, a cruise ship would be an original setting for the series.  And maybe it could crash land somewhere and open up the game more, or something.  Drop the RE name, just name it LEON IS AWESOME ON A BOAT.

I really loved Red Steel one.  I played it a few months after launch, so I was used to the whole "aiming" thing  8).  There was some really cool stuff going on that could be beefed up.  I liked that you could approach the mission order however you wanted, and would like to see more of that.  There was some great set pieces, the rabbit thing and the air duct shoot out are really standing out in my mind.  There was a lot of real effort in that game, even though it seemed rushed.  What I loved the most was that taking dudes down was just so easy.  It was so easy to drop people with the pistol, 20 minutes in it was all headshots and I felt like a real action star!

I hope this one fares better, but development team switch makes me uneasy.

This game is amazing.  It's so relaxing to play!  I managed to hang on to a windmill, and get it to wind me up.  And then I attached my butt to another windmill, and they wound up both ends.  One windmill uprooted itself and began to roll away, eventually falling off the edge. Snap!  I think it's great that you have to eat your own butt in order to reassemble yourself.

The katamari references are nice.

I picked this up because of the gamestop price cut.

It's pretty alright.  It's surprisingly good considering the size of the dev team, the budget which I imagine was small, and etc.  There's a lot of heart that went into it, it sort of reminds me of Scurge: Hive.  I wish there was more enemy variety, or even better designed enemies.  However it is fun blasting things, and the RAD is, well, rad...

I really cannot wait for this.  The blue is so great.

The DSiWare outing look perfect from what I've seen, lots of cheap puzzle games!  I saw that they are releasing Pyoro, and Pyoro is my favorite.  Plus that katamari puzzle game based off of that pac man puzzle game, stellar.

I think it's neat that I could feasibly sit in class and download a game because I'm bored.  That's great!

Hello.  As one may guess I'm new.

What else?  Nothing else.

Please do not be alarmed or surprised when you see me post.  Unless of course you haven't read this yet, but you shouldn't worry as you have.

That is all...
