One hour and a bunch of clicking later, I'm an "elite" level member and am wondering what to spend my new found 1,100 coins on.  :)

What the Hell is an Elite level member?!  I thought the highest it went was Platinum?

It's the secret level you attain after getting 1000 coins. You get a free meet n' greet with Reggie, Cammy and Miyamoto and become a board member for the year. /wishful thinking

In all seriousness I would guess it is a different regions title for Platinum level.

khush: I thought i remembered reading something similar lately. Were you the one who posted the link to that crazy 007 blog site?

You got it. I guess people do read my posts after all. All is forgiven. Except with GP.

No amount of penance can forgive GP  :P

Hmmm is any staff taken my idea of a Gameboy retrospective into consideration?

I know they are planning a Super Metroid Podcast Edition soon. You should write them and see if we can at least get them to talk about it during the mail section for a good deal of time.

For the past few weeks we seem to be on a steady lag on just a week for getting the new stuff from the HD consoles.

Ten was a week late and this weeks stuff was last weeks new stuff on the HD front plus a few older ones. I'm going to guess that is now the standard pattern. Last weeks new stuff plus 3-6ish from the backlog. So I predict Wii will get this stuff next week. Let's see if I'm right.

It's not illegal material. Torrents are not illegal unless they have illegal material in them.
If I linked to an OC Remix Torrent or a Torrent of public domain music it would be OK as well.
Besides, I linked to the site not a torrent. Not all the stuff on there is torrent either. It is an option for people who have a client like that. There are options for people w/o a torrent client.

Now if I linked to a site that had torrents for popular music and games, that would be illegal.

OK, Ultimate PB, I'll agree with you. I was trying to go at it on a different wavelength from you and completely overshot your original point in the process. I concede defeat.

Videogame Scrapbook

They have a lot of good stuff on there.

There is a whole collection of "Brawl Lost Tracks" that were not in the final game.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?  That Maxi and Stratos have lost their marbles.

Have you seen them?

Hmm when I got my GBA I got Golden Sun with it.I also got Sonic Advance,Columns Crown.I also got Mario& Luigi Superstar Saga.I liked all of them but Columns Crown.I usually like puzzle games but this type of puzzle game I didn't like.

I do not have a favorable opinion of Golden Sun. I think the game is ridiculously overrated by fanboys.

Link's Awakening is my favourite game of all time but I didn't end up playing it until at least five years after it came out.  Funny how these things work out.

You and me both. I love the Ballad of the Windfish. Did you hear the version of it that was created for Brawl but wasn't included in the final game? It is wonderful. I play it all the time.

Majora still sold several million copies world wide. Close to 3.5 million if I recall correctly. That's still a good turn out.

Yay! Thanks :)

I didn't know all that about the game originally being planned for the ill fated Sony-Nintendo SNES CD add-on. Most interesting.

Didn't you listen to episode 23 of Retronauts, like I told you to do?    >:(

Whoops. I forget you even mentioned that.

So far on my ban list I have:
Easycure
Stratos
Mop_it_up
Smash_Brothers (to show that it isn't personal)
ShyGuy
Maxi
Stogi
Khush
NinGurl
:'( Why me?

I use a very complex formula, it would be impossible to describe.

Well I think I would get it.Tell me.

Maxi, I'm sorry. It is probably a guilt by association thing since you and I are in this weird synchronized state. GP has been plotting my removal for a while and our association has made you a target. I had hopped to procure Pap's favor to avoid a conflict but seeing as GP has already gotten his ear we may not have much longer to live. It was nice knowing you all.

This concerns me as well; well this and the power button. I wonder why they moved it.

They like to move around buttons and switches to make the system feel new.

I imagine these tertiary inputs simply get placed wherever there's room left after all the important stuff is nailed down.  They don't have a lot of leeway to move the D-pad, after all.  Maybe the camera hardware and wiring forced them to move the power button.

I know on my Lite I'm a little worried that my right hand could hit the power button enough to turn off the system. I'm a southpaw so I hold the DS primarily with my right hand on stylus intensive games and my hand tends to press against the power button at times. So I'm glad they moved that switch.

Oh, the dungeon where you get Gnome magic.  Well, you could let Sprite die early and then leave him dead until right before the boss.  Then you'll only need one Cup of Wishes.

I've thought about doing that but I first need to get re-motivated to play the game once more.
Listening to the 'cast last night almost did, but I turned on my system to discover my WiiMote batteries are nearly dead. I want to at least try to finish the game before you record the next episode.

I didn't know all that about the game originally being planned for the ill fated Sony-Nintendo SNES CD add-on. Most interesting.

This game has lost all of the charm of the original, which honestly was the only thing that game had going for it.

I'm going to go listen to FFCC's soundtrack and dream of a better world.

While I haven't given up on this title completely, I do long for a true sequel to the original game on Gamecube. I have the soundtrack as well. I just wish I could get my hands on the US version of the opening song to round out my collection.

I loved the Celtic music and the art style from the original. I don't really care for the DS games because I don't like controlling your character with the D pad and I also got a bad taste in my mouth from Rings because of the horrendous C rated Saturday morning cartoon voice acting and dialogue. Why did they make the Lilty character -a warrior race- talk in toddler speech?

I almost want them to dump everything and reboot the series based off of the first game. I'll give this game a chance, it probably still has a way to go so we may see more characters involved in battles.

At most I've gotten three people playing together but not for long. Two is usually the best I can do.

Too lazy to type them out right now so here's a link to them.

I thought I had more but that appears to be it. I borrowed a lot more during that era as well.

You know how you can stack the Sega 32x units on top of each other in a Genesis? Could you do the same thing with Motion Plus modules and make a super tower of power?

I'm going to try that someday. I'll get a bunch of people to meet and we'll all bring our M+ and create the world record of most M+ attached to a single Wii Remote.

Hmm I got all of them. The only one I still have is the SP.
My Brick's screen got smashed,Same with Play it loud Clear.Pocket I remember letting someone borrow he moved with it.GBC missing.GBA stolen.
As you can tell my luck with handhelds isn't that great.

Yeah, I loaned my Color to a friend back in high school since I was sitting pretty with a GBA but he took it to school and someone stole it from his backpack. Bummer there. I'm especially hoarding the GBA and SP because I might eventually gather enough to play 4 player Crystal Chronicles and Four Swords.

Your bedroom is boring.

At least his room is clean. I'd have to do a videocast in my living room because of the poor status my room is in.

The lights and mirror are weird. Funny about how it went off at the post office.

In response to the crew's reading of my Secret of Mana post, it was the first dungeon after you get the magic I think. You needed the Sprite alive at the end as well which is why I was especially frustrated with the AI getting itself killed.

Brick, Color, Regular GBA and an SP. I missed out on the Pocket because by the time I could have gotten it I heard the Color was around the corner so I held out.

Sadly my Color was stolen but I still have all the others. I would really like to get a Micro.
