I'm so glad someone else agrees with me on how that CCPro looks.

and I'm sure the online multi will be great too (I'll have to update everyone on my new <3rd> Wii Friend Code)

Even though it was confirmed that both the Headbanger and WiiSpeak will not be compatible with the game?
Pfft, thanks Activison. :T

Would have been nice if they included Yoshi's Island and Super Mario World, but I'm just being greedy.
You're not being greedy, you are stating a fact.

It's Donkey Kong Country. I shouldn't have to get used to the controls.
That's what the tutorial stage is for.  ;)

I always thought it was Capcom overestimating the PS2 audience into thinking Clover's games would give them money hats, and we ALL know how that turned out. Then they dumped them.

Hilariously, when you think about it, Platinum's games for Sega haven't been overly huge sellers either... I'm waiting for word on Vanquish' sales though, so yeah.

So Capcom lost not only Clover, but Keiji Inafune as well?

*facepalm*

Yeah, I like it. It's fun but doesn't quite reach AWESOME levels. The game is really at its best when you're caught by surprise, don't have cover and need to improvise but unfortunately that happens rarely. It's still fun the rest of the time but not as awesome as, say, EDF.
Anyone have sales for the game yet?

Space World is back.
It died in 2001 when people bitched about Celda.

It is NEVER, EVER, coming back. And that makes me :(

Is the version without the CCPro releasing at the same time as the special edition?

The point is that Nintendo and Retro are forcing imprecise, unreliable motion controls onto a gameplay feature that is likely essential for getting through the game and getting the secrets, judging by how much I used it in the original DKC games.  It is important that you be able to execute a roll consistently every time you need it, and it it's as unreliable as the spin attack was in Mario Galaxy (which is sustantially less important) that's a major problem.
Sorry, I don't see how Galaxy 1/2 had imprecise controls. They worked absolutely fine, and I had no problems at all. The Spin Attack was an amazing feature to have in that game, and NO, it wasn't hard to control.

But I do agree having the rolling being waggle is kind of silly. Though it shouldn't be too hard to get used to.

I'm starting to wonder if there will be any Wii games in 2011

Well, here's the answer.

Goodbye old friend  :'(
This. Methinks Nintendo has started to not ignore the third party problem the Wii has and started work on WiiHD/3D/Too/Whatever it will be named. But this also means delays, and we all know what happened to Twilight Princess.

I've just been playing this game for a bit since I got the game from my doorstep this afternoon... and I'm already deciding between Super Mario Galaxy 2, or Kirby's Epic Yarn for best game on the Wii for this year? Both have such creativity imbued onto them. I think I'm going with Kirby's Epic Yarn because it's not the sequel. It deserves the spotlight.
Damn right it does!

Man, this really is the year for decades-old fans of established franchises to have to challenge their preconceptions (or just whine about them, as we've seen), between FF XIII; Metroid Other M
I like a challenge, I just don't like good taste pounded into the wall.

3D Sonic games could've been good, except Sega of Japan.

And Yuji Naka.

AND SONIC X-TREME.

AND... whenever a topic about Nintendo comes up, Topless Robot users eat themselves and then some more.

I got more comedy on there then I did watching an episode of Panty & Stocking With Gaterbelt.

That game is going to print Capcom and Level-5 money... in 3D.

INSTANT BUY.

I imagine that playing this game while in a...heightened state of awareness...would be insane.

But can it top "Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy" from Yoshi's Island?
As long as you play the SNES version, yes.

Pikmin 3 should come to the Wii. We have not seen any new Pikmin title for this generation (unless you count the new play control version, which I do not). But the thing I feel the Wii is really missing is some new core franchises.
We have not even seen Star Fox yet. Hell, even Hideki Kamiya wants a new Star Fox and he wanted Nintendo to force him to make one.

...I kind of want Pikmin for the 3DS though.

I'm just happy knowing I have an analog nub to play Mario 64 DS with.

Well at the very least you're going to get a kick-ass 3D Paper Mario game, but i'm willing to bet there will be a lot more.  People were saying the same thing when the DS came out and we still got plenty of sprite-based games.
Let's also not forget this so-called VC 3D releases.

I was going to say that, Goldeneye and the Wii Remote Plus.

It worked well for them in previous years because the competition was pretty weak, but this year Sony's picked up a lot of steam.
Steam can burn you if hot enough.

I got it.  Loving it so far.  I played through the first 3 worlds.  Can't get the extra stages in the first world.  If anyone got them pm and tell me how to get it.
You get one by getting a Platinum-kinda patch when you're fighting a boss.

If you add it all up, Nintendo systems have 6 games on the chart, but Sony systems have twice that much. This sucks.
Really doesn't matter to me considering these are games that are either: a) big budget JRPGs that the country will gobble up regardless. b) bi-yearly entries in popular Japanese only franchises. c) Monster Hunter.
