I won't be surprised if MS go all out Japanese and create some puny little credt card sized console, with a weird name like 'J-Box !21698!' or something.
They expected to lose money yes, but why? Why did they even make a console that's going to lsoe money? Why not try to fix it up to minimise the loss, as the SHOULD have done before releasing it?

MY GOD! I'm thinking of ways to save MS money?

Oh well.

I just want Sony and Microsoft to NOT have any extra features, and create GAMES-ONLY machines, so that we can see for REAL which console can really survive.
NO FEATURES, not even MUSIC CD playback. JUST games, and internet gaming (no surfing the net)
If they lose money cause they're not putting in these features, or people start openly complaining about it, then tough. They should't have relied on them in the first place.

I'm a true blue, dinky dye aussie. I have a pet kangaroo called Tiger, I drive a yellow Holden '83 Commodore, and I live in a tin shack in the Australian National Park near Ayres Rock. My dad owns a sheep farm, my mum works in the kitchen, and my sister does horse demos. Me? I'm a dole bludger.
All my cousins live in Timbucktoo, and our nearest neighbours are in Darwin.

Oh, and sarcasm is one of my favourite forms of humor.

The twist at the end of Imposter is pretty cool, and then the double twist, but that's the only bit I liked.

One of the things about Enter the Matrix is that it is actually pretty cool.
The animations and the graphics could have been better, but the game is pretty cool. I played the PS2 version, and haven't played the GCN version yet. Are the graphics on the GCN version good as Metroid?
Stupid question, i know, but i have to ask.

I, on the other hand, didn't really grow up with the NES, since I didn't own consoles until 1995 with the SNES. But it was the NES that sparked my love of games - quality ones too, cause my uncle had one.
Moreover than not, teh NES was cool back then, so we all got one. THe catch was that basically all the games we played were really good ones.
The PSX/PS2 are cool, and that's why every kid has one. Catch is, most of the games are crap.
I commend them, however, that they lik games with inferior graphics and like the 'gameplay', but when that gp "PS2 graphics are better than Gamecube", that's the icing on my temper cake, and I'll bash the nearest PS2 (or PS2 lover).

Nintendo doesn't need to be #1, since we're all used to them where they are since the SNES days.
I like how Iwata-san said that being in 3rd place is making them more determined to make great games.
He says that they WILL be #1, and I don't doubt that, but I do agree that it's gonna be a long road.
The thing with Sony and MS is that they are slowly making the average gamer think that all those extra features are what's needed in gaming consoles, and so NIntendo will be crap to them.
I know that technology is making everything smaller, and we can fit all these things in, but seriously.
It's not needed.

I read somwhere that the PS2 was/is sold, and has sold best as a DVD player.
I want to see Sony and MS make games-only machines for the next generation, and see how they REALLY perform compared to Nintendo. Internet can be included.
PSX was cool cause you could listen to your CDs in it.
No more of that. Games only, and the best anti-pirate software you have.

Let the games begin, I say.

Damn, the battle to make Never Say Never Again went on since after Thunderball was released! Damn!
That's bloody stupid of Sony!

I mean, sinking some form of missile carrying transport, stealing it's contents then holding the world/government/country/person/building/game console/whatever hostage is soo overused in movies today, I don't think anyone would even bother watching it.

If Rare didn't pass on Bond, we would still be getting Bond exclusive (which is good), but then we wouldn't have gotten any other new games, since rare would be stuck making Bond (which is bad), but ALSO, since Rare went to M$, Bond would then be exclusive to Xbox (which is even worse!!!).

I don't think Nintendo would ever sell their characters outright, only lend them to others to free their resources, like they do now.

I like rock, and movie scores.
I only really listen to rap if it's just good enought that I can stand it, and it's got a good tune.
I can, however, listen to it in the car (or my friend's car), since turning up the volume to max, and the bass to overload is what rap is all about.

Is that rap? Or is that RnB?
