After reading the article about the greatest gamecube hardware it struck me that from all the "old" systems the Wii is supporting (NES, SNES, N64, Megadrive/Genesis, Turbografix and the cube for those who forgot ;-) ), one is obviously missing -> there's no way to play gameboy games.. now one could argue that Nintendo doesn't want to cut it's own sales for GB games (especially since the DS is still what it has always been
) but since there's been a gameboy player for SNES and the cube.. isn't it only a matter of time till it wil be announced for the Wii? I mean.. the Wii could even play DS games! (DS Games!!!!) The announcement of a gameboy player that would allow to play DS games on the Wii would be the argument to immediately convince me in buying one (haven't done so yet cause, except for Zelda, there aren't exactly a lot of games out yet, that I'd consider worthy of my hard earned cash ;-) )
What do you folks think, any chances for this to come true?
