Nintendo Gaming / Never-Before-Seen Virtual Boy tech demo footage: Starfox & Mario Land

The camera work is pretty rough because Nintendo hosted the VB demos in a small dark enclosed mini-theatre filled with attendees. We stood in a pretty large line waiting to get our chance to see the VB games for the first-time in the U.S. Nintendo wasn't allowing photography inside but I was able to pretend my camera wasn't shooting by placing some dark wire tape over the recording light. So basically I went against their policy and I had to be very careful that the Reps didn't see me recording.

General Chat / Motion Footage of the late Gunpei Yokoi

October 4th will be the anniversary of the late Gunpei Yokoi tragic death.
I was blessed to have met this brilliant man during the unveiling of Virtual Boy at the Electronic Entertainment Expo ( E3 1995 ). Many of you have never seen Mr. Yokoi but still photos. Well, I recently recovered the footage of me meeting Mr. Yokoi, 13 years ago and I thought i'd share the experience to all the Nintendo and gaming fans. To celebrate Mr. Yokoi's contributions to the gaming industry - I put together a short tribute to the man practically responsible for ressurrecting the gaming industry.
