Title: BG&E Rumors

I thought this rumor from GCAdvanced was pretty ironic given someone put up a petition for this just yesterday:

The gist is some sort of interview with someone at UBISoft hinting that the sequel is going to be made and in fact, there will probably be a third. The interview is in French and I'm to lazy to translate it, so I'm trusting that GCAdanved ain't pulling my leg here.
I love UBI's attitude of making great games and not caring about sales to much right now. Although I really hated both Splinter Cell and PoP. Anyways, seems like happy news, even if its not quite confirmed yet.

Might as well edit this...not a rumor. Beyond Good and Evil's creator confirmed that he plans on making a trilogy out of the game, the final two of which he will release over an extended period of time. In my eyes, it shouldn't be expected till the end of the GCN's life-cycle, and the third around half way through the Revolution's.

thank god- this game was a true gem- it was a lot of fun and even though it was short- it was great all the way through- hopefully the next game will be just as great

I just picked up BG&E yesterday. I had planned to pick it up ever since the price drop, but hadnt been able to find it. When going to the store to pick up a copy of F-Zero GX, I saw BG&E on the shelf for $20. I have played it for a few hours now, and must say, its the best multi platform title I have scene on the Cube yet. Excellent, the quality is superb. Its good to see that they arent going to scrap the series do to low sales of the first game.

BG&E was one of my favourite games this generation. I really hope this rumour is true because I would love to play more games in this series, which has a lot of potential!

"BG&E was planned to be a trilogy" DOES NOT MEAN "We are making more BG&E games."
It just means it was originally planned to be a trilogy, but seeing as it sold so poorly, parts two and three probably won't be made.
