Title: animal crossing - how do I get rid of carrie!?!

Hi if anyone can tell me please how to get rid of animals on animal crossing. Ive tried: Sending hate mail countless pitfalls pushing her around hitting her with a net sending old boots digging up their garden being mean not speaking to them if I see them having a happy chat with someone, I seperate them and she STILL wont leave! please help

Poor Carrie. What did she ever do to you??
Edit: But reading over this I decided to give you some useful information. Just try traveling to another town and if you were really mean to her she should be the one that moves to that town.
