Starting August 1st, North American Pokemon fans can receive a free Pokemon Pocket Trainer's Guide when they pre-order Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green at most stores. The offer is apparently aimed at new players who want to take a crack at these remakes of the original games. Fire Red & Leaf Green will ship on September 7 at a suggested price of $39.99 each. The games each include a Wireless Adapter for GBA, which lets you battle, trade, and chat wirelessly in certain games...namely these two Pokemon titles, plus Mario Golf: Advance Tour and a few other upcoming games.

I hear that for the Revolution launch Nintendo is going to include as a pre-order bonus video on how to play videogames, you know, for all the new gamers that are going to pre-order a system for launch. Included in the set will be instructions on how to run the video in a VCR and a Hooked on Phonics kit to teach people how to read the instructions.

Well, you have to remember that each version will come with a wireless adapter, so that explains why the game is back to the old cost of GBA games.
