The Chinese get Wario too.

According to a report from The MagicBox Nintendo has officially launched their handheld Game Boy Advance console in the nation of China on June 8th. The system is currently being sold for 9248 Yen, or about $84 in American currency. It is being distributed by the iQue company.

The company is planning to release a number of popular Game Boy Advance titles in China, translated into the Chinese language. The only games mentioned on the iQue website are Super Mario Advance (Super Mario Bros 2) and Warioland 4.

I bet in china people already have a huge library of cheaply available games at their disposal...

Well put it this way, all those cart copiers, the hardware you need to pirate GBA games, which readily happens is created and distributed from China. The piracy on GBA in East and South East Asia is rampant.

Oh well, at least now Chinese consumers will have the opportunity to get legit copies of the GBA and its games.  You gotta start somewhere.
