Title: My latest MSPaint creation
Post by: mouse_clicker on May 30, 2004, 06:04:45 PM
Wiz. There are some compression artifacts from when I converted it from a bitmap to a GIF but I think they make it look better. Tell me what you think.

Teh, lol, how old are you? Are you good at hand-drawing?

I'm 16 and I'm absolutely horrible at hand drawing.

I only used the spraypaint tool to simulate blood, and my only MSPaint creations to feature blood are my Stick Figure Death series (entitled Done) and my now famous Head-wound Smiley. Oh, and I used it for the puke in my reenactment of Shawn Puking.  Like I said, that picture looks grainy because of the compression artifacts going from a bitmap to a GIF, and I think it looks great.

And KDR, I'm perfectly happy with my MSPaint work so I see no need to learn drawing. I am a follower of the mantra "Simple yet elegant".

Is that guy eating his trumpet or what?  Welll, I supose a man his age has to keep regular.  I would've chosen trail mix, personally.

I now feel the need to post a work of mine, but I just might start working on something new... ^_^

Like SOME people.

Anyway, I have another picture I made in Paint, I'm just trying to get it into Photobucket's limit without it looking horrible.

I did this one way back on 9-21-2001: http://img64.photobucket.com/albums/v194/nitsujdark/flag2.jpg using only the spray paint tool, and only the spray paint tool

And this one on 1-14-2004: http://img64.photobucket.com/albums/v194/nitsujdark/monkey.jpg with just a regular drawing tool.

And this one was going to be the 3rd and final frame in an animated scene, done on 10-27-2003: http://img64.photobucket.com/albums/v194/nitsujdark/murder3.jpg again using just a regualr drawing tool, but with the spray paint tool for added effect.

I have others but I don't feel like uploading them right now. =P

Exit (thanks to Bill for help with the GIF animator). That's one image that I've always considered very creepy, ever since I learned about perspective back in 5th grade art class. Something never quite sat well with me about it. :\

I call it mouse_clicked. A girl I know suggest the design after she saw my regular mouse picture. I thought it was going to be quite difficult to design and animate but everything ran pretty smoothly, to my surprise. Thanks to Bill for the help!

Ah I love mouse. Of course, I love any creative mind at work, and at least your creative mind isn't going to bomb building. Or crack.

Tears. It's my latest creation, and so far one of my favorites. It turned out a lot better than I expected, I was really surprised.

So much spectacular artwork. . . I've seen Infernal's before, in his journal.  Very good.  The exit, mouse click, and that tears one are good, too.  For the tears, I like the splash when the tears hit the bottom.

My friend murk has a multitude of GIF animations that can be found at this place (scroll down, they're below the links).

He also has a deviantart account with all of that, as well as traditional art and flash animation.  A very good example for aspiring "artists".

Nah, it's not a picture.  Foolish me.  When I said links, I meant the links to other sites.  The GIF animations are linked below those links.  Sorry.

Here's one of his skate animations: Loop de loop of terror!

And one of his newer, less bloody, more sophisticated animations (in Flash).  I'm Mafo: Have fun.

I'll have to tell him I'm telling you folk about his work.  I showed him the picture war we were having in the newbie thread a few months ago and he thought that was very cool.

Damn links don't work.  I'll fix that later.  If you want to look at his stuff, you can see it all at murk280.deviantart.com.

Hey, I'm behind the times here, but this thread inspired me to click on Paint for the first time in many years.  I use fancier programs nowdays, but there's something extra-satisfying about using Paint.  It's nostalgiac, I guess!

Using it reminded me of the olden days of gaming magazines when they'd print art from fans with things like Sonic chopping off Mario's head, or Mario kicking Sonic in the crotch, or someone from Mortal Kombat disembowelling someone from Street Fighter.  Yay for violence! *SMUSH STOMP STOMP SMUSH!*

Edit: has anyone noticed how cool goggles are lately?  Jak and Ratchet both wear them, and so does Blinx.  It's like, add goggles to increase the radness of your character by 25%.

My animated epic. A friend of mine requested I make a picture of him exploding and that is the completed project. Enjoy.

Of course Mario has a big penis.  If you were 80 feet tall from eating magic mushrooms yours would be big too!  Actually, that's just how it came out.  I normallly would have fixed something like that, but I was trying to make the pictures as fast as possible to preserve the MS Paintness of it all.

Hee hee, exploding animations are awesome.  I used to do quite a few of them.  I'd link one here, but I don't have access to any right now.

If you ate enough mushrooms to think you were 80 feet tall, I don't think you could move.

I made my avatar in MS paint. I enjoy working pixel by pixel.

Let's see...

I also made Hobo Chunks in paint, which is one of my favourite GIF animations.
This rotating animation took quite a while, and I was semi-proud of it.
I did this pixelart as a gift for a friend online.

Probably my best work in MS paint would be of My friend's heads.

I do some silly, non-detailed things in paint too... like this piece-o-crap.

HA ha, good work Infernal Monkey!  I think it kind of lost it on page 8, but otherwise, good stuff.  I like the Falcon Eat! move, that should be in the next SSB.
