Title: The name of Nintendo's next generation console

Yes, well it's a code name right now but I like it, how's this sound "Revolution", yes "The Nintendo Revolution", I think it's a good name.

Its a codename, so ignore the "The Nintendo" part.
I actually like it, a lot more than all the names that were thrown around the Internet when the news about it all started.

Yes it is a code name, Nintendo are the one's who released it though but, neverless the Gamecube was code named the Dolphin but it changed to our loving Gamecube, so it will probably be changed before it releases.

Nintendo has never kept a codename as a system's final name...ever...Expect it to change...

(Oh, and it's "Nintendo IS," not "Nintendo ARE"...A company is singular...That bugs me so much! >=( )

I know its a codename clownboat - which is why they shouldn't refer to it as "The Nintendo Revolution", just "Revolution". Better than "Dolphin" by a long shot!

Yeah.  I'm so used to the name "Nintendo DS" now.  It would be nice if they kept that name.

Don't forget that Nintendo DS wasn't the original 'codename' for this handheld, that would have actually been "Nitro' if you remember the leaked outdated specs sheet.

But if they were to change the name I wouldn't be surprised if it was renamed to the GameBoy DS, just to stick with the gameboy name and all but guarantee itself about 20 million units sold.

i believe everyone outside of nintendo heard the phrase "ds" before "nitro", so as far as i'm concerned, ds came first.  if you can show me that nitro was around before, and nintendo did a really good job keeping it under wraps, i'll agree with you.  otherwise, as far as i'm concerned, it was ds and never was nitro.

Nitro was the original project name...Just as the GC was the Dolphin...

Regional hilarity.  Some countries use plural verbs for companies; others use singular.  Get over it.

Right, well, other countries are wrong, it's as simple as that.

Besides, Crimson lives in Alabama, Bill in Rhode Island, and while the differences between the two are quite large they're hardly seperate countries.
