Title: Collaborative games
Post by: Collaboration on May 10, 2004, 06:37:59 AM
OK, Game cube fan with Gamecube friends, but we have a problem. Head to head leads to too many fights.
We've been enjoying Gladius, but are looking for reccomendations on Collaborative Action games, other than racing.
Suggestions???

Hmmmm...That's a toughie...There's TimeSplitters 2, which has a decent co-op mode, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is fun if you have more people...
I hear Star Fox (Armada) that will be coming out later this year will also have a co-op mode, which is pretty cool...Unfortunately, the co-op genre really hasn't been played out too much...

I bought Gladius a few weeks ago and I am really enjoying it.
What about the Rogue Leader co-op in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III - Rebel Strike?

Well, MarioKart does allow two people per cart now. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King offers a co-op mode too.

I'll second that choice. The one player game is kind of bleh but the multiplayer is worth buying the game for alone. The only problem is that you're limited to only two players.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles requires each person playing to have a GBA. If you don't have four GBAs between your friends it's a waste of money.
