Title: Official "Homework Help" Thread
Post by: kirby_killer_dedede on April 02, 2004, 01:16:55 AM
Yes...for school, I need to do a research project on clown fish.  Can anyone tell me about their migration patterns, if they have migrate?

Mr. Von Riktor says, "Pwwweeeez?"

Heh, clown fish never stray more than 2 meters away from their anemone homes during their whole lifetime...

the fathers are extremely faithful, for example, if a father has his wife and all his babies eaten except one, and his only son is taken by scuba diving dentists, he will chase after his only son all the way into sydney fighting off sharks, lantern fish, and jellyfish.  the dad will work extra hard if his son has a bad fin and will make many glib remarks if accompanied by an annoying forgetful fish voiced by Ellen Degeneres.

other than that... sorry i can't help...

You have a school library, science teachers, public library, and this wonderful thing you have called the internet.

Draygaia he technically is using the internet.  He's just not using it correctly.

While we're on the "do stuff for me" topic I've been assigned to fix a bug in one of my employer's programs.  Somebody want to do for me for free and have me get paid for it?

Mr. Von Riktor says: "Oh Lord!  Thank you so for this spiritual force - aka Bill - in Messiah form!  What, we're not doing that no more?"

Mr. Von Riktor also says: "I'll have some of what he's smokin'."

Mr. Von Riktor continues: "kirby_killer_dedede learned at school today that clown fish can change gender at will."

I think Finding Nemo is cute.  I especially like Dory.

Yellowfellow: You also forgot that they will even go inside other animals in order to find their lost son.

I'm with evil. Finding Nemo is a wonderful movie. I read that clownfish really do rub against anemonies (=P spelling) so the become resistant to the sting.

Does anyone know how to derive f(x) = ln x with the definition of derivatives?

Um...I'm not sure what you are asking there, and I'm no good at math so I'll let someone else handle that.

Clownfish have a special protective mucus on the outside of their skin that protects them from anenomes.  So when an evil shark comes along they dash into the anenome for saftey.  And dance.  SAFETY DANCE =o

"That dance wasn't very safe."

You'd know that quote, KN, if you watched Futurama!!

Epside 3.21, entitled "Futurestock", which originally aired March 31st, 2001.

Bah.  I don't *do* the DVD scene, so if I want to catch a certain episode I have to be very lucky.

Funny thing, my friend the other day said, "Eric, you know what show I think you'd like?  Futruerama.  You seem like you'd like Futurerama."  And then he told me about all the pop-culture references and stuff.

Very good, Mouse, but you have no way of proving you didn't look that up. Trying to sound smart, eh? Heh heh heh. I'll bet you don't know where the Berlin Wall was built.

Your name is Eric, too, KN?!?! =O Or did I already know that and just forget? In any case, Cartoon Network moved Futurama back to 11 PM Eastern Mondays through Thursdays, so you should watch it.

Berny: Psh, I haven't memorized ALL of that yet, just most of the first season.

THAT explains why I can never watch it on Fridays. I'll have to tune in during Easter Break.

Instead of watching futurama, watch Finding Nemo. Finding Nemo is a lot better.

Not true. Don't ya know Finding Nemo was inspired by a true story. uu-hm *nods head* really, in fakt most movies these days are "inspired" or "based" on "true" stories. Movie companies do this to help educate the public through entertainment, obviously, what other reason would there be?, seriously, I can't think of one,......... not a single alternative possibility.

Hey, i need some homework help.. =P  I'm trying to whip off a stupid ass paper on LAN video game tunneling.  I know basically how it all works but what I'm really looking for is a fairly technical site on the subject to cite as a reference.  Has anyone stumbled upon anything like this?

Mr. Von Riktor is outraged by the fact that you guys all get to write video game papers where ever you go to school, while I, his current host, am forced to learn about cirrus clouds.  Well, Mr. Von Riktor suggests looking at Warp Pipe.  Maybe they have a FAQ or something; oh, and look through the PGC News Archives...Mr. Von Riktor remembers that new company (the one that tunnels for XBox) that's jumpin' in for Cube....well, they're site's pretty tech, if Mr. Von Riktor remembers correctly.  Sorry, that's about all the help I can give.

Does anyone know how to derive f(x) = ln x with the definition of derivatives?

The rule is for f(x) = ln g(x) => f'(x) = g'(x)/g(x). So the answer is 1/x.
Hopefully you're not still stumped with it.

I'm bumping this thread because...well, because I need help once more.  For my theatre/drama class, I'm planning on performing a funny duet scene with my friend...of course, the catch is, and can't be your own comedic creation, but someone else's...like the script and/or play must already be in existence, with the playwright's name intact.  I haven't had any luck in finding a funny script on the Net...if someone wants to search around in books, on the Web, etc., I'd greatly appreciate it! Oh, and my partner (as well as I, for those who haven't figured it out) is male, if that makes a difference at all.  Please, try to find a funny one?

It'll be funnier if one of you dresses up as a woman for sure...Oh, and tape it for me...

Hehe...Yeah, I was serious ^_^...For that, I recommend "Barefoot in the Park"...It has some pretty funny scenes in it...(that's all I can think of for now)

Post by: kirby_killer_dedede on August 21, 2004, 11:49:25 AM
