Title: F-Zero 2 Races to Europe
Post by: LassePalle on February 16, 2004, 12:10:55 PM
Europeans can satisfy their thirst for high-speed racing in the second quarter of 2004.

F-ZERO 2 ZOOMS INTO VIEW

A cheetah in a jet plane? Nah. A rocket-propelled rabbit? Not even close. Imagine the fastest thing in the world, and you still wouldn't be close to the speed of F-Zero.

From SNES to Nintendo GameCube, the sound barrier-smashing racer has delivered visceral videogaming thrills guaranteed to keep you glued to your screen. And later this year F-Zero blasts its way back onto Game Boy Advance.

A fully-fledged sequel to F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, F-Zero 2 brings you hyper-velocity hover-racing with truckloads of new features such as the Story Mode; in which each race represents its own unique character-based challenge.

No doubt you're thirsting for more info like an impatient F-Zero pilot in the off-season, so we've put together a new game page complete with the full review and a tempting selection of screenshots.

The game is scheduled to hit shops across Europe in the second quarter of this year, so keep your eyes peeled for more F-Zero 2 info coming soon, if you can catch it...

Yeah, I was going to post something about that one...

Let's just hope North America gets it as well.

I think it's the one based on the F-Zero anime in Japan.  And it's already out in Japan.

The screenshots on the NoE page look like the ones from Falcon Densetsu. I'd guess it's the same game.

What I find odd is that they say it's a sequel to Maximum Velocity, when MV takes place 20-odd years after Falcon and co. retire.....
