Especially since Substance would fill up about four GameCube discs. It's not gonna happen.

I thought it was cheap to go multiple disc on the GCN.  Also just be thankful Konami is atleast giving is us something fantastic and.............exlcusive!  MGS:TS.  Unlike some companies they don't give us their fantastic games.  They still give us good games but its not up there with their well-known games.  Konami even said it themselves that they wouldn't risk some hugely popular franchise on the GCN because of how popular the GCN is.  So I'm just thankful.

Yeah, that might be fantastic if they bothered giving us some of their other games too.  I mean the only other thing they've put out on GameCube is like Disney Sports.

I don't want it on Cube.

Horrible game... SUCH a disappointment.

I would rather have DDR than MGS2...

Konami's weird- they'll let a Nitendo 2nd party remake quite possibly their finest game to date exclusively for the Gamecube, and yet they give the XBox DDR Ultramix and Silent Hill 4? That doesn't make much sense.

Konami baka.

At least give us Castlevania.  Despite how aweful it is.  Should be an easy port.

If Twin snakes does well( i think it will) there's a better chance of MGS3 being ported over

Although I too think Konami is confusing, I think the Xbox exclusive DDR and SH4 were obtained in Microsoft's usual manner *coughdirtymoneycough*.  The two franchises are huge hits in Japan (where the Xbox is getting slaughtered in sales) and SH4 could be Microsoft's potential Biohazrd 4 killer.  I definitely think Microsoft recognized Konami's greatestness in the Japanese market and 'persuaded' them.
Rob, I've got my fingers crossed for a port of Snake Eater, too.

double data rate i wish they would put DDR out in australia >_< on the PS2 atleast, we have it in arcades but no home edition

edit: MGS TTS is actually being called MGS 2 TTS in Australia, check Nintendo Australia or Atari (the publisher here)'s websites for proof, so yeah, we got MGS 2

I still think a port of the PS2's Contra would of done wonders on GameCube. Silly Konami. =/

You know what he meant- MS has a habit of just buying exclusives that the developer otherwise has absolutely no reason to put on the XBox. Case in point Sega, with Jet Set Radio Future, Shenmue 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Gunvalkrie, all of which sold horribly- I believe Bill once told me that Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, a 2 year old Dreamcast port, outsold all of those games combined. Tecmo is another example- they had a poll on their website once asking which console their fans wanted the next Ninja Gaiden to appear on. The Gamecube was first by some 30,000 votes while the XBox was dead last. Guess which console got it, though? And Tecmo says "that's where the fans are."

I want an IN-HOUSE konami port of Substance, (with a few new extra goodies) or Snake Eater so that SK can get on with their own games... Sorry if I'm askin for a bit much, but you guys never worry about giving that amount of lovin to the Xbox and PS2...

like every game company hasnt bent ears and greased palms to get a few exclusives in their time.  that is the nature of the business.  No I do not like it, but that is why is it called business and not poker night.  If you see a way to line your pockets, you go for it, or you go under.

But its just gotta piss ya' off when companies are canceling games on the Cube due to "poor sales" and adding games to their XBox release list which has, arguably, worse sales.
